Hidden treasure and great memories made - Thank you all the team at Combe House.
Pros:

A beautiful hidden treasure - Great welcome, very comfortable rooms and great food. The garden was an unexpected treat.

Cons:

Breakfast service a little slow - but we weren't really rushing, and lighting in bedroom might have been better,

Genuinely, one of the best days I’ve ever had away
Pros:

Everything was amazing from the lovely hosts Gareth and Catherine who make you feel so welcome and at home, to the beautifully decorated rooms and not to mention the incredible food from the kitchens. Genuinely one of the best stays I’ve ever had. I shall be returning!

A great stay, dinner was exceptional and very helpful staff.
Pros:

Outstandingly good dinner. Seasonal, beautifully prepared and presented and a lovely surprise. Asparagus, prosciutto; excellent hake; rhubarb pannacotta and purée with edible flowers. Local vodka for the espresso martini . Delicious

Very nice hotel, welcoming staff, comfortable rooms and an excellent menu.
Pros:

Room was very nice, food was exceptional. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The setting is marvellous close to some spectacular locations in & around The Quantocks.

overall most enjoyable - my specific comments are to elevate the hotel's offering
Pros:

Continental breakfast was fine; but disappointed they ran out of croissants on one day. I also don't understand why white / brown bread is standard sliced loaf rather than a higher quality bread - even if establishment slices it

Cons:

electric showers over bath which mean you have to stand right in corner to get a shower. surely a plumber can put a frame to get the shower head over the bath or even better use a rain shower

Pros:

In a lovely location, very quiet. Used the hotel as a stop off on the long drive down to Lands End airport. Room lovely and comfortable. Staff professional and friendly.

A peaceful stay in a very nice hotel.
Pros:

A lovely old property in a beautiful, tranquil location. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Delicious evening meal and a good choice of wines.

Cons:

The temperature of the electric shower was tricky to control and the pressure was low. A shame there are extra charges for the internet password and also for a cooked breakfast - these are usually included in the price of most hotel rooms.

Pros:

We went for our honeymoon as it was where I proposed, the staff were lovely, food was amazing as always.

Thankfully it was sunny all but one of the days but when it rained there was cosy areas to sit inside.

Pros:

This hotel is in a secluded and beautiful spot in the Quantocks. The room was lovely, and we had an amazing night's sleep because it was completely quiet. Also, there is ample parking, and it is dog-friendly.
The continental breakfast is included in the price, and it was very good, with lots of choices.
