Ok -but not what I was expecting.
Pros:

Bed was very comfortable. Staff were excellent and attentive. Great location.

Cons:

Average hotel room -for the price I was expecting it to be more boutique. My room (410 -junior suite) faced an office building with no sheer curtain -so I had to close the blinds to change or close the bathroom door to use the bathroom. Mimibar wasn't topped up during my stay. Couldn't mirror my ipad/computer to TV. The lifts are slow.

Great location with well appointed rooms
Pros:

Clean & well appointed room with Coffee pod machine. I loved everything about our stay in Christchurch at Fable. Will be my first choice on return

Cons:

The bed and room are super small … not enough room to swing a cat! The curtains let through a bit too much light also they probs need to be block out with street lights on.

There was no room to valet park our car and we had a long wait at the bar.

Pros:

The room was comfortable and the staff very attentive and accommodating.

Cons:

No so much didn't like, but needs attention.....the mattress was leaning to the outside, which meant I felt I was falling out of bed. It possibly needs turning or maybe replacing. I put a pillow under the edge as a temporary measure. (I did mention it when I was checking out.)

Close and convenient with iconic views
Pros:

The welcome from the front desk staff was very professional. The hotel was lovely and the location was brilliant and in close Proximity to the new stadium which was why we booked to stay at Fable but also as an indulgent treat to ourselves.

Cons:

A little disappointing that there were no decaffeinated options in our room only tea and coffee pods.
We were a little disappointed to have spent a few hundred $$ for a night of luxury indulgence and our room had torn carpet and a broken shelf coming away from the wall.
An extra blanket option would have been a nice touch as I ended up getting cold and had to turn the heating up early hours.
Noticed the shower non slip mat was stained which was a little off putting.
