Old school British charm and very good restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast.
All meals were really excellent and the staff worked hard to assist in dietary needs. All staff were first rate and made our stay really memorable
Our bedroom window was painted closed and with very high temperatures it made for a very hot room. We were provided with an efficient electrical fan
Everything, amazing stay, staff wonderful and hotel lovely.
Nothing at all
Care has clearly been taken with pretty much every aspect of the hotel.
The grounds and exterior are clearly well considered and cared for.
The entrance is gorgeous and smells of clean carpets and good ventilation.
It was a hot day when we arrived. We were VERY happy to find that the air con had been running in our bedroom, so it was beautifully cool.
Beds and pillows were very good quality, as was the bed linen.
Shower is great! Even the shower head is good quality
There isn't a single thing I didn't like about our stay.
I'll definitely be back.
The fact that I had to leave.
lovely , lovely hotel , a calm oasis with lovely staff , perfect.

Beautiful building and garden. Friendly attentive staff. Very good food.

The staff went out of their way to give us a surprise. We booked a stay for one night on Aug 12 a while ago without realising there would be a solar eclipse. We called the hotel in late afternoon the day before asking if they had any specialist glasses to watch the special astronomical event. It was always a tall ask as the whole England was looking for the glasses. As expected, the reply was negative. Then on the actual day, me and my wife was having a drink in the outdoor patio of the hotel at around 18:20. We saw an Amazon delivery van pulled up to make a delivery, took no notice of it, but 10 minutes later the staff came out holding two pairs of those specialist glasses for us, just in time to watch the solar eclipse. We lost for words. It was our first experience watching a solar eclipse, thanks to the hotel staff, it will be a memory that will last a lifetime!
It was stunning and very clean, lovely dining facilities. The staff were excellent, and so friendly.

Excellent food and very friendly attentive staff

Superb hotel in lovely location, small village just a few miles from Lincoln centre. The team were all so professional and yet friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble. The garden at the front of the hotel with a small terrace is picture perfect (our room overlooked the garden) and we enjoyed drinks either there or in the cosy lounges. The food was amazing, from the home-made granola at breakfast to the steak at dinner. The rooms were very comfortable and large. We not only visited Lincoln centre (plenty of car parking at the top of the city near the cathedral and boutiquey shops) but also RAF Conningsby for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight tour and the International Bomber Command Memorial - newly developed - which is literally down the road. Hope to come back at some point, but meanwhile we would definitely recommend!
No down-sides at all!
Nice and near Bomber Command
Sparse facilities no gym or pool
Beautiful location just outside of Lincoln. Breakfast was very good.
The hotel met our expectations overall. We were in a basement room so there was limited natural light.
Great location and the property itself is stunning.
Like many places at this time of year, the bedrooms would benefit from air conditioning
Staff air conditioning

Great building very well kept. Good room.
A little restricted in terms of charging for literally everything including charging corkage for a bucket of ice!
