Pros:

Stunning room

Cons:

Staff could be. More friendly and really need to have a uniform for such a beautiful hotel. Staff dress quite scruffy with jeans and chains and t shirt.
One staff member looked like she had pygamas on

Super hotel au coeur d’Edimbourg.
Pros:

J’ai tout aimé de cet hotel.. L’emplacement au coeur de la nouvelle ville et à quelques rues de l’ancienne ville et du chateau. Les gens à la réception sont super gentils. La grandeur de la chambre est parfaite et salle de bain moderne, etc… Enfin tout était parfait pour nous.

Great location but terrible service and dirty, tired rooms/decor.
Pros:

I had an issue with the lights in my bedroom. The automatic lights kept coming on in the middle of the night. Full bright lights coming on. I asked them to address it and they did but I asked for some kind of credit since I did not sleep at all the first night. The manager David has been unresponsive despite three attempts to reach him. The staff is unprofessional and there is no one monitoring the hotel at night. Carpet in my room was very soiled.

Good hotel in excellent position, nightclub noisy!
Pros:

Quirky room, comfortable bed, clean. Excellent position, helpful staff.

Cons:

THE NIGHTCLUB underneath the hotel..Noise level till early hours was awful. Reception area bit dark and unwelcoming and not always managed.
