Always a great experience
Pros:

We come back to this hotel when traveling to/from Italy. Impeccable as usual: very quiet rooms, friendly staff, excellent cleanliness, and a quality restaurant. Very easy to park in the underground parking.

Leider waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Wir haben für eine Nacht ein King-Size-Zimmer gebucht und dafür 266 CHF bezahlt – entsprechend waren unsere Erwartungen deutlich höher.
Beim Betreten des Zimmers fiel uns sofort ein muffiger Geruch auf, was keinen guten ersten Eindruck hinterliess. Zwar gab es eine Kaffeemaschine, jedoch ohne Kapseln – diese hätte man offenbar selbst mitbringen müssen, was für ein Hotel in dieser Preisklasse wirklich unverständlich ist. Auch der Kühlschrank war komplett leer, es gab weder eine Minibar noch kleine Snacks wie Chips oder Nüsse.
Zusätzlich fanden wir es sehr umständlich, dass keine Badeschlappen zur Verfügung gestellt wurden, obwohl man diese für den Besuch im Aquabasilea gut hätte gebrauchen können. So musste man mit den normalen Schuhen hinüberlaufen.
Auch das Essen konnte leider nicht überzeugen. Die französische Salatsauce wirkte wie ein Fertigprodukt (vergleichbar mit Thomy), und das Rindstatar war ebenfalls enttäuschend.
Insgesamt sind wir für diesen Preis sehr enttäuscht. Leider hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns überhaupt nicht gestimmt.
