We kwamen rond 19.30 uur aan. Bij aankomst werd ons verteld dat we pas om 21.00 uur konden dineren, omdat er op dat moment een grote groep aanwezig was en à-la-carte eten daardoor niet mogelijk was. Dat vonden we geen probleem.

Om 21.00 uur meldden we ons bij het restaurant, maar toen moesten we alsnog een half uur extra wachten. Toen ik hiernaar vroeg, reageerde een medewerkster behoorlijk geïrriteerd, terwijl wij hier natuurlijk niets aan konden doen.

Uiteindelijk was de teleurstelling compleet: pas om 22.00 uur konden we daadwerkelijk aan tafel. Blijkbaar had het personeel niet eens door dat er een grote groep gasten bij de bar stond te wachten.

Dit vinden wij niet normaal. Bij een hotel in deze prijsklasse verwacht je dat de organisatie op orde is en dat je gewoon kunt dineren op de afgesproken tijd. Uiteindelijk bleken wij bovendien niet de enigen te zijn die hier last van hadden. Dat is erg teleurstellend en doet afbreuk aan de ervaring.
