great place from where to experience Christchurch
Pros:

It was in a great spot for seeing Christchurch. lots of restaurants around and even a cafe in the hotel that was good

Perfect for what we needed - we would stay there again. Good value and in an excellent location.
Pros:

Room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The kitchen was a little messy - but i dont know how you control that with irresponsible people leave food and plates everywhere.

Proximity to city centre and Hagley Park with the Light Show was fantastic without a car
Pros:

Proximity, helpful staff and clean room

Cons:

If we had a car - parking would be expensive. Stayed a week at Hotel Give but broke it for 1 night at Hanmer Springs. Not able to store part of our luggage at Hotel Give overnight till our return the following night.
