The room was very spacious and the bed we requested was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.
The hotel doesn't cater for guests. We could only get breakfast there, not evening meal, which wasn't clear on our booking.
I just want to take a minute to thanks everyone at the Brisbane House Hotel all the staff on the day Vince for making sure we were OK.. the bar staff for putting us will our wild wedding party. Our chef who made the best dinner ❤️ but most of Al our wedding coordinator Claire from checking in with us on the day helping us with getting creases out of my dress for giving us a fan. Honestly I can honestly say staff were just amazing towards myself and Gary and most of our guest were saying how nice everyone was and how amazing the wedding was our day was everything and more than we wished for I can honestly say we would do it all again tomorrow ❤️ from bottom of our heart we are thankful we picked here to get married and forever grateful for the amazing venue. The honeymoon suite just tops it all off we were nearly crying leaving yesterday 😢 but I hope to be back for a wee stay one day ❤️ love from Mr and Mrs Brown ❤️ 💙 would highly recommend for a stay or for a wedding venue staff went over and above for us.

Hotel was in a great location with good parking
Check in very easy and room was very nice. Room 101 was very big with a very big bathroom with separate shower and bath. The bed was very comfortable and very very big with very comfy pillows. Brilliant night's sleep.

Betten hart; helle grüne LED an der Decke. Bettdecke stark mit Haaren verschmutzt, wurden nach Urgenz neu überzogen.
Heatwave in Largs. No fans for room. Unbearable heat in room. No bar staff at 20.45. Had to wait 15 mins for staff member to get back from break. Then told bar shuts at 10pm. Then told we had 10 mins to finish drinks and get out. What a way to run a hotel.

Breakfast was just ok
We had our wedding here in May 2026 and honestly cannot fault anything - everything was fantastic! The staff in particular were amazing - Claire, Viktor, Holly and everyone behind the scenes were so lovely and patient making sure everything ran smoothly. Communication on the run up was great, everything was explained clearly and nothing a problem. The wedding meal and breakfast the next day were fab. The hotel is just beautiful since the renovation - the rooms are lovely, the Bridal/getting ready suite is gorgeous and the honeymoon suite is just incredible! Thank you so much for making our wedding so special! Jo & Paul xx
This was a treat for my mum and dad for father's day , they both love the Brisbane Hotel when it was doing dinner so they lloved the treat of an overnight stay., plus the stay in gourock so no hours of travelling
There wasn't anything to dislike , apart from them having to come home.
