Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Breiddalsvik. The room was clean and comfy. We liked having the public lounge area where we were able to relax in comfy chairs and have some tea and snacks. It was also nice having access to a refrigerator. Our morning breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met.

An outstanding facility in the Eastfjords! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.
Pros:

This is a wonderful hotel for such a remote area of Iceland. The staff are outstanding, the rooms very nice and the restaurant excellent! We had both dinner and breakfast and each was wonderful.

Pros:

The village is really small but in a fantastic position. The hotel is normal but with a warmer touch. Nice the common room where to drink a tea or a coffee.
The real plus the receptionist, UNA FANTASTICA BERGAMASCA DELLE NOSTRE who makes you soon in good mood. Good also the possibility to eat in the hotel restaurant, as the village is really isolated.

Cons:

I would say all is ok.

Pros:

L'hôtel est très propre, cosi et bien décoré. Les chambres sont très propres et agréables. Le restaurant au sein de l'hôtel est très bien et pratique.

Cons:

La chambre était un peu petite mais très confortable tout de même.

A nice place to stay, would recommend - make sure you include breakfast, it’s great value for the money and maybe the mo
Pros:

The property was nice with a very comfortable lounge area that was welcoming and warm with a beautiful fireplace, snacks and drinks and a dining area in which you can have your own “picnic”. The breakfast was exceptional, fresh baked pastries, delicious breads and a nice variety of foods for everyone. The hotel is very easy to find as Breiddalsvik is very small, but, like most places in Iceland, beautiful and welcoming.

Cons:

As we were checking out, we took some of our luggage to our car, in trying to recenter the hotel we found we were locked out. We could see a staffer setting at the front desk as we repeatedly rang the bell to gain entry, but the staff person never looked up or bothered to help us. Finally, a couple who were trying to leave the hotel, apparently locked in, were able to shove the door open with great force. Very strange and unsettling.
