Pros:

Comfortable boutique hotel. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Parking available but tight.

Cons:

The hotel was further from the town center than I expected but an okay walk. There was no air conditioning and of course we visited during a heat wave. A fan was provided so that helped.

Hôtel haute gamme
Pros:

Hôtel magnifique!! Une maison de caractère, avec jardin et piscine, en haut d'une petite colline, d'où la chambre vu sur le port. Accueil et disponibilité des réceptionnistes super !!! Le staff du petit déjeuner, très aimables, touts très professionnels et souriants!! Un bonheur !!

Pros:

Tolle Lage mit Blick auf die Bucht und den Hafen. Etwas abseits der Hauptstraße, dadurch angenehm ruhig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und reagierte positiv auf kleine kritische Anmerkungen.

Cons:

Etwas schleppendes Nachfüllen der Vorräte am Frühstücksbüffet. Aber von Tag zu Tag aufmerksamer …

Pros:

Staff brilliant, breakfast very good.

Cons:

The bedroom was far too warm, the bed was tiny , mattress too soft and pillows had no shape at all.

A good nights sleep impossible

Vi hade ett stort rum med havsutsikt. Personalen var mycket trevliga, familjär stämning. Bra frukost. Nära tågstationen, men lugnt läge.

Allt var jättebra, men notera att hotellet ligger på en brant backe.

LUGAR PERFECTO CON PRECIOSAS VISTAS.
Pros:

Habitación estupenda. Me "upgradearon" a una habitación superior ideal con vistas a St.Michaels Mount. Las amenities de la habitación excelentes. Surtido de tés, cafés solubles, hervidor, galletitas, etc.

Cons:

No he tenido ningún problema, todo perfecto para mí, pero sí indicar que aún cuando está muy cerca de la estación, el hotel está ubicado en una zona elevada con fuerte pendiente de unos 50m. A tener en cuenta para personas con movilidad reducida o con mucho equipaje. Aunque hay taxis en la estación, por tanto se puede solucionar fácilmente. La recepcionista, creo que su nombre era "Joy" encantadora y amabilísima.

Lack of parking space and difficult to park. Lack of mini fridge in a non air conditioned room makes it difficult to to keep cool overnight and it was only mildly warm ambient temperatures during our stay.

Cons:

Needs some basic maintenance, toilet flush needs fixing. Wall Pictures need aligning. Breakfast is a cheap but high impact event. Suggest abundance especially in cheap stuff, tea in tea pots, toast already cooked.

This hotel is a delightful place to stay in Penzance.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel. Our bedroom had a view of the harbour that was quite nice. The bathroom had an excellent shower. The included breakfast was served in a lovely dining room. There were many delicious items featured on the buffet (pastries, fruit, etc.) and then we could also order off of the menu. The food was exceptionally well-prepared; indeed, the scrambled eggs were some of the creamiest and tastiest we’ve ever had!

Cons:

The location is good in that it’s near the train station, but there is a steep hill to walk up to get to the hotel. We didn’t have a car, so rolled our carry-on bags from the train station, but going up that hill was quite a hike! Overall, the hotel is worth it, though. Just make sure you have the stamina to climb the hill (or get a taxi!).
