Nothing
Everything
The staff was helpful. The room was spacious. The location was good but close to a not so good motel.
The floors were sticky. The pull out sofa bed was not comfortable at all. Breakfast was terrible they did not restock and when we got there at 8:40 and it closed at 9:00, we were left with just toast and a little waffle mix. They were out of juice, coffee, eggs, sausage. Almost everything. Also the back door was broken so you had to come in and out only through the front door which seems like a hazard to me.
The furniture was not in the best shape and the toilet paper holder was rusty. Room was not as clean as it should be.
Dirty, no towels
There were a lot of stores around
Front desk lady was extremely rude they charge an extra 12 dollars A DAY service fee plus incidentals. Breakfast was poor no meats muffins and the waffle spout was broken out of sausage 2 days and they claimed to be out of towels so when the pool opened (closed the first 2 days of my stay for no reason) we were expected to use our shower towels for the pool
We got there a couple of hours early and they wanted to charge a full nights stay to check in early, they also trued to over charge my friend for her room after she had already paid for it online.

Beds were comfy, they accommodated my family on short notice.
The skirts on the beds were stained as well as the down comforters. Limit towels when we requested. The carpet made our feet black and the pool was very small.
Very little
Dirty, Dirty & also dirty
Kind staff
Filthy and very old hotel
The rooms are horrible, they smell, the chairs are all stained up the carpet is dirty. The bed sheets had hair throughout.
Convenient location and quick check in. Facility is dated but cozy.
Nothings at all
Dear Customer Relations,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my family’s recent stay at the Comfort Inn in Chesapeake, Virginia, from June 19–21, 2026. This was, without question, the most unpleasant hotel experience my family has ever encountered.
My husband, Nathan Hillman, made a reservation for six guests. Due to limited hotel availability in the area that weekend, this property was one of the few options available. Had alternative accommodations been available, we would have left immediately upon arrival.
While the property itself appeared outdated, our primary concern was not the age of the hotel but rather the unacceptable lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and basic guest accommodations.
Upon arrival, there appeared to be only one employee working. Although he was courteous and professional throughout our stay, it was evident that he was overwhelmed and lacked adequate support. As a result, the check-in process took an excessive amount of time.
After finally receiving our room keys, we discovered they did not work. After going down to the front desk worker 4 times, we were informed that the batteries in the door lock had died, requiring a front desk employee to accompany us and manually open the room door each time we needed access. This was a significant inconvenience throughout our stay.
Once inside the room, we were shocked by its condition. The room was visibly dirty and appeared not to have been properly cleaned between guests. The bedding contained hair and debris, leading us to question whether the sheets had even been changed. The floors were dirty, and numerous surfaces including the tables, couch, headboard, refrigerator, and bathroom were unclean. The toilet, in particular, appeared not to have been cleaned at all.
Additionally, despite having six registered guests, the room contained only two bath towels and two hand towels. This falls far below reasonable expectations for a reservation of this size.
Nothing
The staff’s attitude and mannerisms. They gotten upset because I informed them that our sheets were covered in pissed stains and that we would like them changed. The managed snatched the key card from me and the housekeeper looked like she didn’t want to change the sheets
