Beautiful scenery, exceptional food, amazing service
It was extremely ‘family friendly’ which can detract from the experience when you don’t have children with you
Localisation , hôtel, restaurants , plage, activités proposées ( randonnées, sorties bateaux).
La vue de notre chambre était magnifique.
Difficultés initialement pour réserver les restaurants car nous avions sélectionné une chambre avec demi-pension ( je n’avais pas eu le choix il me semble ).
The hotel itself is a beautiful set-up and if you went for the all-inclusive option then you defintely get your monies-worth. The staff were really friendly - the stand out member of staff was Giannis P who was working in the Ocean restaurant at lunch time. Others worth note was Girogis, Olga and Sara at the beach, Maria in the Glass Box bar and Evi by the adult pool.
The bed was very comfy and the room was spotless. The funicular was a god-send too.
I do feel the ladies working on the beach should be in white or beige, you can see them melting in dark navy blue in the heat - surely from a Health & Safety / Wellbeing point of few, they should be as comfortable as possible in their uniform.
The service in most of the restaurants was so slow! The number of times our drinks weren't ordered / forgotten or so slow that we would get our food before our drinks.
I ordered the beef cheek & orzo from Taverna & had to send it back - it was solid sinew & fat which made it inedible - no way I would have served that - the replacement came out and was good but it was a shame I had to complain.
It's an odd concept to be on the All Inclusive package but to have an empty minibar - but you can order what you want to put in it but whenever you order drinks, it's a min of a 30 minute wait.
There is a complimentary shuttle to Agios N town but then it turns out it's only on Mon, Wed & Fri & at different times, giving you only approx 3hrs there which we found restrictive - the day we wanted to go it was already fully booked.
We also struggled to get reservations at the restaurants for the times we wanted - disappointing.
But WORST of all is the sheer volume of children hurtling around the place - there was no place where you could escape them. Not even at the Adult Only Pool because that looks directly over the main pool which was overrun with families and crying, shouting children. This also ruined any idea of a relaxing or romantic lunch or evening meal because again, every restaurant has families at every turn. The most infuriating was that we tried to gain a bit of space by going to the Adult Only Pool but as it transpires, that applies LITERALLY to JUST the pool, not the lounger area surrounding said pool. I had a child sitting themselves down on my partners lounger when he was in the pool, balls being thrown about and all chance of a bit of peace sabotaged. SURELY for an establishment who are wanting to charge the prices that they do, they should offer some sort of sanctury to those travelling as couples or with friends. We stupidly had booked over part of half term but to not have actual Adult Only areas is poor.

The scenery and the facility concept and of course the tennis court.
Sauna rules in 16+ area. For my taste and based on general sauna protocol, people in swimming dresses entering the finnish sauna and sauna pool made me feel a bit unconfy.

Umgebung , Stil
Wir waren zum dritten Mal in dieser schönen Anlage. Die Lage ist hervorragend, wenn auch für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung teilweise schwierig mit den Treppen und Auf- und Abgängen. Der Blick aufs Meer -nicht von überall - wunderschön. Kein Teppich- oder Brillenverkäufer belästigt die Menschen am Strand, da das Gelände eingezäunt ist. Eine fantastische Ruhe!
Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht.
Das Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet waren sehr gut. Die Auswahl der Speisen sehr groß und abwechslungsreich.
Und die Präsentation immer toll. Besonders die Nachspeisen waren ein Hingucker! Wer hier nichts findet… selber schuld! Mittags haben wir immer im Strandrestaurant gegessen. Die Auswahl auf der Karte nicht so reichhaltig, die Preise viel zu hoch. Der Caesars Salat könnte verbessert werden, etwas trocken, das Hähnchenfleisch ebenso. Die Reservierung war auch etwas chaotisch manchmal.
Das Körnerbrot jeden Morgen war fantastisch, das kann ein deutscher Bäcker nicht besser.
Leider fanden wir die Getränke überall zu teuer. Sowohl alkoholische als auch anti alkoholische!
Die Ober, allen voran Yannis und Alexander sehr aufmerksam, sowohl morgens als auch abends. Es fehlte bei den beiden nie an Aufmerksamkeit. Sie waren zuvorkommend und höflich und wussten nach zwei Tagen, was man gern trinkt! Alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren ebenfalls freundlich und nett. Am Strand war Vladimir sehr aufmerksam. Immer freundlich! Der Strand ist leider aufgrund der Lage der Bucht etwas klein und wird sehr voll.
Der Pool - den wir nicht nutzten - da viel zu kalt, wurde jeden Morgen gesäubert.
Erwähnenswert wäre noch die Sauberkeit der Toiletten und Waschräume am Strand. Blitzsauber zu jeder Tageszeit!
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Pool, aber da das Zimmer nicht zur Südseite lag, war es für die Benutzung Mitte Oktober einfach zu kühl.
Außerdem wäre so ein kleiner Pool höchstens im Hochsommer zum planschen geeignet. Ecologisch fragwürdig , lieber ein Stück Garten zum relaxen, wenn es am Strand keine Plätze mehr gibt!
Ich würde auch auf die Zimmerreinigung am Abend verzichten, 1x am Tag reicht es aus.
Leider wurde unser Zimmer einmal vergessen, manchmal fehlten Handtücher, manchmal Badetücher. Aber das haben wir mit einem Anruf an der Rezeption geregelt.
Was wir nicht schön fanden, waren die Wäschesäcke, die mal direkt rechts vor unserer Zimmertür, mal oben am Eingang lagen. Das ist eines Luxusresorts irgendwie nicht würdig.
Die Umkleidekabine am Strand könnte einen zweiten Haken zum Aufhängen des Handtuchs vertragen. Eine Bank wäre auch nützlich!
