Pros:

Room had weird mildew smell and felt extremely damp! I brought my own tissues and when I left we noticed the box was literally damp and realized that was the very unpleasant smell that we couldn’t rid the room of! Also it wasn’t the cleanest. For over $260/night we expected much better! Next time in Downtown Memphis we will definitely explore other options. Although staff was pleasant, take your money elsewhere.

Cons:

My room was opposite the elevator. So I heard it all night. The toilet had a problem filling after a flush. There was a recessed light in the ceiling that hung down from the ceiling out of the socket.

Cons:

I was not told ahead of time or during registration that I had no choice but to pay for parking. That sum is a budget breaker. The hotel was inside a fortress and that was uncomfortable. The shower was cracked.

Nice place to stay.
Pros:

Loved the balcony and the room itself.

Cons:

The AC didn’t seem to cool the whole room. The vent and the thermostat were around the corner from the bed area so it seemed like the “hallway” area of the room stayed cooler than the actual sleeping area.

Love staying here, but please turn up the water temp.
Pros:

The location for St. Jude weekend was perfect! It was clean and the staff was some of the best I’ve seen.

Cons:

The water for the shower was luke warm. It is winter, please turn up the water heater. After the race, I was cold. After the shower, I was miserably cold.

It is a convenient, clean, and reasonably priced location, but facility is need of updates.
Pros:

Convenient location. Reasonably priced. One of the quietest stays we have ever experienced.

Cons:

Needed maintenance/ updating. Room was not properly stocked and we felt put off when asking staff for essentials that were to be in each room. They did provide the essentials when we asked for them.
