Convenient and Accommodating
Pros:

We stayed two nights and enjoyed our room. Nice view, spacious accommodations, indoor pool and jacuzzi, wonderful and above average breakfast. It's a fairly easy walk into town. My only complaint is the $15 parking fee - I get that you can charge it because you can, but really?

Not great at all, definitely not up to typical Residence Inn standards
Pros:

We were only here for 1 night as we were doing a driving vacation through Colorado. We chose this hotel for its location to the Hot Springs (which was right across the street) We had stayed at Marriott Residence Inn in Vail the night before this stay so that set the bar and it unfortunately fell very flat. The room was very outdated and unfortunately just felt dirty upon arrival but we were only here for one night so I figured we could overlook that but when it came time to sleep that is when the real dissatisfaction comes into play! Our mattress (king bed) was the worst mattress I have ever laid on in my life! Completely bowed in the middle so my husband and I rolled into the middle "ditch" and had to try to sleep like that. It was seriously the most awful thing ever. Seriously I wondered all night if they furnished this hotel with second hand furnishings. Then came breakfast which was also just not great. Nothing was restocked and there was hardly any selection (and we went down at 7:00 so not like we were at the tail end or anything.) For the price we paid per night this hotel was really bad. I did try to discuss my satisfaction about the mattress with the girl upon check out and she seriously just nodded her head like "whatever-nothing I can do about it" and I specifically told her I just wanted to mention it because the mattress was THAT BAD.

This hotel is a joke. Fire the staff and the management
Pros:

This place is a real joke. First, the $15 parking fee. Then, upon arrival at 4 pm, one room was not ready for another hour. The desk person was from another planet and showed no courtesy or welcome. Completely incompetent. My family got a $400+ suite facing the heating and cooling units. They did not sleep. On the way out, the desk person from the same planet as the one the day before showed no courtesy and didn't even ask how your stay was. She should be FIRED, as she has no skills whatsoever for a service role. Bottom line, this place is a huge, expensive joke and a disappointment for the Marriott brand. Fire the staff and replace the management.

Comfortable and clean, held back by a few frustrations
Pros:

We had a mostly positive stay here, with a few issues worth mentioning. The room itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable — genuinely a good night’s rest, which is what matters most. That said, there was a strange smell when we first arrived, though it didn’t ruin the stay. The bigger frustrations were practical ones: parking was a constant problem, and despite paying for it we could never actually find a spot. We were also double-charged our incidental fee, which we had to sort out afterward. If the hotel tightened up the parking situation and the billing, this would be a clear five-star property. As it stands, it’s a comfortable and solid choice with some room to improve.

Pros:

We were so thankful that we had booked ahead. There was a fire I70 was closed and we would not have had a place to stay

Cons:

When I booked the website said it was a queen and a pull out sofa bed. No sofa bed. My roommate had to sleep on the small couch. Otherwise very clean. No decalf coffee in the restaurant. Later finding out at front desk they just did not make any.

Pros:

Room was very spacious and well equipped. Felt more like an apartment than hotel room. We only stayed one night but would be great for family of 4 for a longer stay.

Cons:

Breakfast serving area was cramped. Selection was fine though.

Poor experience.
Pros:

No room cleaning. When asked why, was told at check out that I needed to have opted in for housekeeping at check in.

Breakfast was of poor quality.

Comfortable stay in Glenwood Springs
Pros:

It was clean and comfortable. I liked the kitchenette and amount of dishes, utensils, and cookware available. We did not have to eat out.

Cons:

This property charges $15 per night for parking, which I thought was ridiculous. I paid for one night, but then parked at the community center for free during the rest of my stay. I would expect to have to pay for parking downtown in a city, but not in a place like Glenwood Springs. Breakfast was overrun on Sunday morning and all the coffee was empty around 7:20 am. There was not enough room to sit. The hot tub looked dirty.
