Very disappointing experience – Not worth the price
Booked this hotel through Expedia for 8–9 August, and unfortunately the overall experience was extremely disappointing.
The issues started right from arrival. An upgrade was confirmed as complimentary on Expedia, but it was not provided when I checked in. The room also did not have a minibar, and when I requested one
The room itself had multiple maintenance and cleanliness issues:
The TV was not working.
Despite booking a non-smoking room, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke.
I requested room freshener, but nobody came to attend to the request.
The toilet faucet was continuously leaking water.
The bed linen was torn.
The washroom light was flickering.
No bathrobe was provided.
What was most disappointing was the lack of urgency and service from the staff. For a hotel charging this kind of price, I expected basic maintenance, cleanliness, and proper guest service to be a given.
Overall, the property felt more like a basic 3-star hotel, rather than the standard I expected based on the price I paid. The experience did not justify the amount spent at all.
I would strongly recommend management review the room maintenance, housekeeping standards, and staff responsiveness. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
