Villa Saigon is a beautiful property on the Saigon River. The rooms are spacious and high end, but the staff really make it special. From Vicky in reception to Vincent at the bell station, they go way out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. My wife’s luggage didn’t arrive and she had only running shoes which got wet in the rain. Vincent cleaned a pair of his shoes and lent them to her—he was very gracious. The breakfast was delicious. The fruit was and vegan pho was nurturing and we appreciated it very much.
River view, location and staff
The breakfast was a bit slow
Classic french villa on the rover, private boat available to get you into the city; neighbourhood is quiet. Fantastic pool (30m). Food and service all fabulous. Staff very attentive and helpful.

Le style : très bel hôtel décoré avec beaucoup de goût
Les personnel de l’hôtel est très agréable et à l’écoute des clients.
Le petit déjeuner peu copieux et le personnel moins à l’écoute. Difficile de se faire comprendre en anglais
Staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was peaceful and breakfast overlooking the river was delightful. I would definitely go back.
Large room with very high ceilings, comfortable beds, large ensuite bathroom. Lovely quiet pocket of Thao Dien just a short walk or cab ride into the thick of it. Lovely sunny breakfast spot right on the river. Huge, warm and clean swimming pool. Lovely staff and breakfast. Quick boat ride to District 1 (or Grab taxi for $5). A nice change from staying in the hustle and bustle of District 1.
Barges on the river are a bit noisy passing during the night. But not a huge issue.
It’s very Saigon, just perfect
The property is situated on the river, which was pretty and quiet.
The property needed some care. Entry to hotel was basic/poor decoratively.No one except porter to greet as reception was at the rear of hotel.Confussion re lenght of stay ran on through our two night stay and refund was unresolved on departure with booking partner saying hotel would fix and hotelsaying they were not responsible for late amendments.
Hand rail on staircase varnish chipped,soft furnishings had seen better days.
Reception staff were not flexible, or confident in their approach-poor English contributed to lack of understanding.
Poor quality fittings/linen/towels/bathroom ammnetities in room.
A boat transfer to the city is advertised as running 'through out the day' Reality was it ran once a day to the city at 10.00 and return was not until 1630.First day, the 1630 boat did not even arrive, so we had to contact the hotel for support as we were not sure how to get back to the property as it was our first day in Saigon.
Breakfast quality poor; little in the way of baked goods for example.
We had paid for the most expensive room and had hoped for more.

palestra minuscola allestita in una stanza con vetrata con vista sulla piscina e composta da un tapis roulant, un'ellittica ed una macchina multifunzionale, abbastanza datate, ed una rastrelliera con i manubri. Già due persone vi si ostacolerebbero a vicenda. Colazione a la carte con un menù veramente ridotto e la possibilità di scegliere solo un piatto e due bevande, caffè incluso;o 0gni richiesta in più è a pagamento. Nell'area tutt'intorno alla villa ci sono dei lavori in corso che, come si usa fare in Vietnam, vengono fatti soprattutto di notte, il che rende l'accesso all'area disagevole di giorno e rumorosa di notte.
