Nothing really - At checkout I suggested a non slip mat or coating should be in the room's shower tray.

De ligging is geweldig, goed uitgangspunt voor trips in de omgeving en verder reizen in de UK, en de wandeling door het park naar het station voor een dagje London is een bonus! Dit hotel al vaker aangeraden aan vrienden.
We hebben de eerste dag extreem lang moeten wachten op het eten in de bar (> 1 uur). Maar de bartender was bijzonder behulpzaam en ging er goed mee om.
Room was big, nice view of the racecourse. Good shower. Staff were pleasant.
Bed was uncomfortable and too high. Room chair (only one even though it was a double room) had some dubious stains on it. Carpet looked grubby. Couldn't get out on to the balcony as door too stiff to open. Buffet breakfast was lukewarm at most, food very average. Towels were worn, some had holes in them. Nowhere pleasant to sit as full of very loud golfing groups. Unexpected Country and Western festival on the Saturday that we were only informed of 2 days before we left.

Good facilities, staff were very pleasant, breakfast lovely. Great view onto the racecourse from our room. Loved that there was a mirror on the wall at the desk area in the room. Great when drying hair, not a lot of hotels account for that, so was impressed. We were also booked in for Sunday lunch which was tasty and plentiful.
The bathroom was a little small compared to the room itself. Not a lot of space, door was very close to toilet when opened.
