Close to the k2, swimming pool, room service quality amazing, lovely staff, EV charging, lots of places to park- it’s just everything we need and although there wasn’t racing when we went the views of the race course from the room were stunning

Large, airy room with balcony overlooking racecourse. Rooms was brilliantly 70s and genuinely in a good way
There was a pervasive smell of cooked oil in the room which has clung onto all clothes and bags
Room was excellent with good quality fittings, very clean and very comfortable bed. Both evening meal and breakfast were very good with excellent wine and choice. I used the pool and jacuzzi which I found very enjoyable and again were very clean and well-maintained with good changing room and hairdryer. The location was fantastic and even though I didn't play golf or use the racecourse I still found it relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially the guy who came to my room to get my television working, and special appreciation to the restaurant staff who were extremely courteous and helpful. I wish I had stayed longer than one night so I may be back!
The only thing I didn't like was the air conditioning in my room wasn't very good which is a shame, as when you sleep under a quilt in warm weather, the room needs to be cool I think.

Location
I arrived and it was 34 degrees on the day before my wedding day. I was given a room key and someone was in the room. So I went back down to reception to be given another room key. I went back upstairs and found this room to be in use too. On the third attempt I got a key card to an empty room. The staff apologised by giving me a $10 voucher for the bar which didn't cover the drink I ordered. My friend stayed at a different marriett for her wedding and she had a bottle of alcohol, confetti in her room and offered late check out. We were not offered any of these options. I was very disappointed with my stay at the Marriott Lingfield. I have stayed previously at the Marriott in Bexleyheath and had a much better experience which is why I chose this company to stay with for my wedding.

Booked to keep my 91 year old mum safe in the heat as they advertised air con. In a heatwave of 35+ temperatures and the air con did not work. Restaurant awful, grumpy chefs…….but temperatures didn’t help. Food inedible. Sent all three meals back. Not a good experience for us.
Very pleasant! Lovely and very helpful staff at the reception, very accommodating and friendly. Same at the bar. In the restaurant, we experienced obviously a period of changes in the menu, too many things on the (not too big!) menu were not available, which was really a shame, so eating there can get kind of boring. Lovely: horse riding and golfing option. Pleasant people.
