The afternoon horse racing was fine
The hotel was dated and very expensive for what you got
Wonderful spa facilities included in package. Staff very welcoming and accommodating and top class facilities. Location and grounds also scenic and relaxing.
Bathroom Facilities in my room needed a minor repair but did not seem representative of the whole property.

Loved breakfast the bar was lovely my only criticism is the price of the room very expensive and should include breakfast in the price
Also parking was difficult we had to park at the very end of the carpark and waited for a space have beaten before in the week and rooms are more affordable and parking easier love the staff though for a large corporate hotel it is so friendly and inviting

Great location, spacious rooms, quiet and excellent breakfasts
Breakfast was well presented, good quality and tasted nice. The Resturant was clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms we stayed in were large and spacious and had a great view of the grounds
The communication between booking.com and the hotel. We paid for bed and breakfast for the 4 of us 2 adults and 2 children. Clearly says it on my confirmation, however the hotel wanted to charge 2 additional breakfasts for my 2 children. Caused some upset and embarrassment, however the manager resolved the issue and confirmed that we were in fact correct. The Jacuzzi was not working and steam room was cold as was the pool. We were looking forward to using the facilities however the main facility was not working.
The whole experience, staff helpful, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Sullen staff on arrival, didn't seem interested in making any effort to get us an early check-in and were reluctant to allow us to plug in our mobile fridge in the left luggage area until we forced the issue pointing out that we had done it on two previous stays......then they made further investigations and arrangements
The staff were helpful and welcoming. The bar food was good. The water station on each floor is a really good idea.
I booked an accessible room as my wife has limited mobility. However the bathroom had a shower over a bath rather than a walk in shower which is a curious idea and shows little insight to the life of someone with mobility or disability difficulties.

All staff were helpful, professional and friendly. All facilities were clean and functional.
Nothing really - At checkout I suggested a non slip mat or coating should be in the room's shower tray.
