Weather was glorious spring everywhere. Close to everything. Wil in reception outstanding

Room was outstanding. Bed great we enjoyed it very much

Cons:

I think maybe a mat in the day spa and a handle for the mature guests. I didn’t like the toilet paper 😂

My bed was extremely uncomfortable to the point i could’t sleep. It was two single beds literally taped together. They must look at it. The left side had a huge ruck in it that you couldn’t remove. It also had extra layers on the mattress than the right side for some reason. The first night i was on the left side and didn’t get any sleep the 2nd night on the right and it was fine. I think the only answer is to throw it out. Also adding to the discomfort was the level of heating. I found it too hot. Otherwise a fantastic old place and I am sur that every body else had a good night.

Pros:

The hotel its self was so beautiful, i loved how many rooms to explore and things to do there was!

Cons:

I would really love go see a meaningful acknowledgment & collaboration with First Nations people in the area. Staying in these sorts of places is so double sided especially knowing the history of colonisation, it would be the bare minimum to acknowledge that history

You can’t go wrong here, Italian restaurant over the road is world class. Get the cheese cake or three.
Pros:

Just beautiful, main restaurant was nice. Good service.

Cons:

Attached eatery on main road was really poor selling cold food. Staff were good and refunded us.
Everyone has a bad day, loads of eating choices in area.

Really good. A highlight for me was coming across some elderly ladies playing Canasta. So delightfully fitting!
Pros:

The Carrington is a wonderful old property. We love the character and the history of the property. The staff are also friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and are fantastic representatives of this amazing property. Although bathroom s were not in the rooms I loved the character of the bathroom area. 😊

Cons:

Our only criticism is the noise which is just part and parcel of such an old building with creaking and rattling ! 😊

Like stepping back in time! Fantastic experience

Easy location and parking, staff were very helpful and lovely. Also lots of shared spaces throughout the hotel to enjoy
