Fantastic location close to the station. Nice old world character, ample sized room
We opted for a room with shared private bathroom down the hallway. Toileting and showering was not a problem but we missed having a sink to fill the kettle, wash coffee cups and glasses etc in our room. We got what we paid for but in future we will opt for an ensuite room.
La sensation d'être dans un lieu historique a proximité des transports et très facile d'accès. Le personnel était très attentif et le bar a cocktail ainsi que le pub étaient tops!
Il y avait une arraignée dans la salle de bain, ce n'est pas un problème dont le personnel de ménage est responsable. Il aurait mieux fallu préciser que la salle de bain est semi privée.

A bit pretentious, expensive,
Beautiful surroundings and excellent location
The $30 breakfast. We have been staying here for 20 years. The breakfast has increased from $20 to $30 but the quality and variety of things offered has decreased. A very obvious case of shrinkflation. The hot foods were not kept warm enough. bacon was overcooked and was cold. The scrambled eggs were also cold. The same berry compote every day was the only accompaniment offered with the yoghurt. There were no fresh strawberries offered any more. One morning, just as we went to get hot tea, we found the huge hot water urn had just been filled cold water. It was going to take forever to heat up, at 8.15 am right in the battle of breakfast, and getting hot water or a pot of tea proved difficult. The staff member kept saying the urn would only be five minutes, when it was clear she had no idea.
