The old world decor and the Location
Having to leave
The Wi-fi info was not attached to the phone or anywhere in the room. Missed not having a booklet about the hotel and Kstoomba surrounds. There wasn't one. Minor when considering the game plan of experiencing something special when you stay at the Carrington. This was our second stay and we'll be back another day for sure. Our grand kids loved it when they stayed a few months ago.
I don't think I have anything apart from, Did I miss not finding a Carrinton postcard?
I actually like the bathroom down the end of the hall. That's great.
Love stepping into the old world charm of the Carrington. I enjoy sitting in the lounge area, with the fire place and a cocktail.
Old world charm, location good and concierge was amazing.
No view, but wasn't expecting one
We loved the old world charm of the Carrington and the proximity to the mountain walks. We stayed in a suite which was very spacious and comfortable.
Bijzonder hotel, het ziet er uit als een oud koloniaal pand (zowel van binnen als van buiten, inclusief het meubilair). Daar moet je van houden. De bedden waren erg lekker, de kamer schoon. Personeel erg vriendelijk en de ligging in het dorp is goed.
De doelgroep van de mensen die hier verblijft, zijn over het algemeen mensen op leeftijd (misschien dat, dat kwam omdat wij buiten het hoogseizoen reisden). Dat is niet erg natuurlijk, maar was voor ons niet uitnodigend om in het hotel te dineren. Ook kan de inrichting een beetje stoffig overkomen. De kamers zijn erg gehorig, maar dat wisten we van te voren.

Old world charm. Location and presence in Katoomba was great.
Sadly it is need of restoration which no doubt would be a big task.
The bar closed very early which as a group meant we could not sit and chat over a nightcap. The games room helped with that but some drinks service would have been good.
