Good location, friendly staff

Cons:

The window looked at a pathway and another building brick wall, so no view at all.
Bathroom roof had something sprayed on it above the shower and the shower wall looked like something had been growing and painted over.

Highly recommended. Warm service, great location, quiet spacious room.
Pros:

Michelle at Reception was wonderfully warm and welcoming, offering helpful advice and thoughtful recommendations. She was an absolute pleasure to meet.

The location is excellent — right on the main street and only a short walk to great eateries and retail stores. Despite facing the main street, our room was very quiet.

The room itself was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bathroom showed some wear but was perfectly adequate. The continental breakfast was plentiful and satisfying.

Pros:

Location is good, staff is pleasant and it is clean.

Cons:

I’ve never stayed at a Four-star hotel before that only offered Continental breakfast. Did not Think about it when booking it, but still……we like a good breakfast, and this was so dissapointing. Would recommend you to take another hotel just due to this experience.

Great location springboard to the Blue Mountains, priced about where it should be given facilities
Pros:

Staff were extremely friendly and accomodating, room make up was well timed when were were out and about.

Cons:

Spa wasn't working, bed not as comfortable as in other places (could feel springs in a couple of spots), television was too small for how far away it was positioned, breakfast only continental, hot buffet would be preferred

Wonderful old building full of charm, basic clean, comfortable room in a fantastic location.
Pros:

The Palais Royale is a stunning old building, beautifully decorated inside with various art works and tapestries, gold features and finely crafted woodwork. I was impressed! Whilst I didn't use it, the sauna looked warm and inviting.

Cons:

The room lacked the luxury of the rest of the Palais Royale. For example, providing quality bathroom products (Australian native eucalyptus or banksia flower hand wash etc.) and new bed linen would improve the experience significantly.

Comfortable beds and only a short distance to shops and buses
Pros:

The location was ideal
The bus service was excellent and bus stop only 3 minutes away
The shopping was lovely and places to eat were plentiful

Cons:

There was no atmosphere in the seating area as it looked like a waiting room
There was no music as someone had forgotten to switch it on in the reception area

Fantastico el personal. Limpio y cómodo.

La calidez y excelente disposición del personal. Amables, cálidos , muy eficientes.

Cons:

El desayuno mejoraría muchisimo si le agregara algo salado como queso o algun fiambre. Las camas un dia muy bien hechas; pero otro día muy mal hechas.
