Awful and expensive car parking experience
Pros:

The Hotel is fine but the parking is a disaster. On arrival I entered our registration number into the iPad on the front desk as required in order not to be charged by the parking company as parking was included.
Unfortunately on arriving home I have received six seperate administration charges of GBP30 each from the car hire company and six fines of GBP100 each from Parking Eye, the parking company. The hotel has reversed five of those fines, but one is still outstanding, and my last communication on this has not been responded to by the hotel, nor by Budget the car hire company. So in total I have been charged GBP180 by Budget for "administration" of letting me know about these fines, and still have a GBP60 fine from Parking Eye that has not been reversed.
It turned out to be a very expensive stay, and a lot of hassle dealing with this!

Pros:

Same room as last visit not far to walk to Restaurant and Bar great location we always stay here for our Military Reunion...The staff are very helpful....10/10 again

Cons:

Check in i understand its a 15.00hrs check in time but we arrived early..
The system could not check us in on arrival even when we was not using room until later ....

Pros:

A lovely modern hotel, and very clean. Friendly and very helpful staff - we had a problem with our room which was very quickly dealt with.

Restaurant was fab, with plenty of choice for all.

Excellent find - we will be back
Pros:

We normally stay in Southampton, pre-Cruise. but on this occassion we couldn't find a hotel we liked, as the Cricket was on, in addition to the Cruise ship arrivals, so we thought we would try this hotel.

The hotel was super. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The food was very good, we had late Lunch, Dinner and then the buffet Breakfast.

The staff were all excellent, helpful and friendly. My husband is disabled and he had some issues when we arrived but the staff were soon on hand to assist him.

We have already booked our next pre-Cruise stay.

I've been to a lot of spas but...
Pros:

Just wow, I feel compelled to write this review after having A spa day with you guys.
I had a package that consisted of use of facilities from 12-4 including a afternoon tea and 50 mins 'rituals' treatment...
The 'check in' at the spa was delightful, I was assigned a comfortable seat of which was also reserved for me for my afternoon tea but this was firstly to just sign some forms. I then was given a short tour and off I went! The spa is small, yes, but it's incredibly clean, tidy and well managed as there was never really more than 4-5 people in it at a time. My afternoon tea was perfect. Everything tasted home made (weather or not it was doesn't matter 🤣) but it was the right amount and delicious.
The treatment, now admittedly I had no idea what a 'rituals'(I think that's what it was called) was, I assumed a massage but it was SO much better. I had a lady with dark hair and my treatment included a full body brush/scrub and a facial and head massage (🥹🫠)
I've come out absolutely radiant and glowing which is exactly why I booked this after a touch few weeks.
I've already told everyone I know and if the deal I got is available next month... I'll be back 🤭
