Pros:

Nice rooms with comfortable beds ace bedding. Nice bathrooms and shower. Rim was clean as felt new and well cared for. Food was good as well at the breakfast as had dinner as well.

Cons:

It's a bit out of town if your looking to be in the mix.

The location, the lobby area and bar, the staff and comfort of the bed

Cons:

The spa facilities should be complementary to hotel guests when it is a spa hotel, paying extra to use them isn’t welcoming. In addition to this, the sauna wasn’t working, so that only left the hydrotherapy pool and steam room, and we had to pay. The price for breakfast was steep.
The bathroom needed some tlc

adequate but expensive given it was booked several months ahead of time, would not go back
Pros:

food options good and staff friendly but condition of the room very poor with broken fitments, Cost very high for a very average hotel, really no better than a premier inn.

Cons:

condition of the room, paying £10 for parking on top of the cost of the stay! also spa treatments did not meet standards expected.

This is a tour bus destination, solo and couples much better elsewhere
Pros:

Staff generally very helpful and polite .
Never tried the gym or spa areas

Cons:

Upper floor is timber so sound between rooms travels.
Showers , no water pressure, functional but not enjoyable
Tv does not cast for apple phones and need a cable , which another room was using .
Restaurant food average
Parking deceptive adding £10 per night
Distance to Winchester was 13 minutes on google not 7 minutes people were saying

One bad experience taints an otherwise OK stay!
Pros:

After a wonderful stay at the VOCO Thames Oxford, we left for our next stay in the UK. This time at the VOCO Winchester, and boy, what a difference poor staff make! On arrival, the duty manager (name withheld) greeted us with a stern face and a brusque statement that we were unable to check in early as the hotel was very busy. Fair enough, but we were only asking! We duly disappeared until the 3:00pm check-in and were “greeted" again by, you know who, and the face was still grumpy. Sad really, as the hotel is OK, except for a rather hard bed and, as our stay was over the weekend, a frantic and very noisy breakfast. We will not be returning to the hotel on our next UK visit.

Absolutely rubbish
Pros:

This was one of the worst spa experiences I have had. There was a serious lack of sunbeds for guests. We had to go on the sunbeds just outside the spa. Considering this is supposed to be a relaxing experience we were then invaded by kids jumping all over our sunbeds from a wedding party. The spa experience as advertised on the website was supposed to be from 6pm until 9pm. One of the spa staff said at 8.15pm rather rudely can you start clearing out now and proceeded to start turning out lights on the guests. Considering the price of the spa the facilities were poor.
