Decent price and upkeep,
- finding directions and check in can be tricky
-Onsite dinning options weren’t great
- Staff training could be better
Location, beautiful grounds, historical setting, privacy
Some of the attractions were not available (ie paddle boats, carousel
Location
Everything was outdated
The property is beautiful and located close to West Point
It is a beautiful location and the staff are so kind.
They need to update a lot. The lodge doesn’t even have an elevator to go to the second floor. You have to hall everything yourself. That being said, the guy working there to mop the community area was so kind and offered to help me carry things to the second floor. What an absolutely kind person! He didn’t have to offer that.
It was in or around the state park so you were close to lots of stuff to do there. The park was pretty.
We stayed at the Overlook Lodge. There is no check in desk there, so you have to go around to the Inn to check in. It was crowded and hard to find parking for that. The staff at the desk at the Inn and at the little coffee place there were not friendly or helpful at all.
When we got back to the Lodge, we were on the second floor and there was no elevator…..we had 4 suitcases and 3 bags to haul upstairs. The room was nice but the bed was not comfortable.
All the staff were exceptional, every single one.
Nothing i didn't like
Clean and comfortable. Good location
Nothing
Good size room, good
fridge, microwave and coffee maker...
The pool is closed, it's not evident in the price, I asked to move to the main building, they said that because I booked on Booking I couldn't, even with an additional ,
Then they charged almost 10 percent above the price I booked on Booking Wich shouldn't have,
under false claims.
Le petit déjeuner est standard. L'espace restaurant ok
