Misleading room description, poor management response, and disappointing facilities
Cons:

I booked a Superior Double Room specifically because it was advertised on Booking.com as having a garden view., and the photographs accompanying the listing also showed an "actual view." Nowhere in the description was it stated that this feature was “subject to availability." Instead, I was given a room overlooking noisy mechanical equipment/boiler. The view was completely different from what had been advertised, and the equipment produced noise during the night.
When I raised the issue, I was initially told that the hotel did not have to provide a garden view, despite this feature being clearly included in the room description. After the receptionist contacted the manager, I was told that the hotel was full but that I might be moved to another room later. No one followed up, and when I asked again, the receptionist said she did not know what was happening. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue, the manager remained unavailable and did not speak with me directly. This appears to be more than an isolated mistake, as other reviews also mention guests receiving rooms without the advertised garden view.
The room was also not soundproof, despite being described as such. Noise could be heard clearly, and light entered the room through gaps around the door at night, making the room uncomfortable for sleeping.
The spa was another major disappointment. It was very small and basic and did not resemble what I would expect from a hotel presenting itself as a boutique hotel and spa.
Overall, the main problem was not simply that I disliked the room. The room I received did not correspond to the description under which it was booked and paid for, and the hotel management failed to take responsibility or provide a meaningful resolution.
Contacting Booking.com support was even more disappoining, I was told that they were waiting for the hotel. No effective solution, replacement room, or compensation was provided.

Great place to stay in Palermo
Pros:

Friendly helpful staff, great hotel location, good breakfast, lovely spacious and comfortable room with a good shower.

Cons:

Spa massage service can only see 1 person at a time and needs to be booked well in-advance. Minor thing though.

Pros:

Excellent breakfast - a small range but that didn't matter because what was available was delicious. Great location. Hotel had a unique charm. Would recommend.

Cons:

Room was a little small. Probably due to the fact we needed 2 singles. Slightly more room would have made it perfect.

La atención 10/10. Todos los que nos atendieron fueron muy amables y dispuestos para hacernos vivir una experiencia muy agradable

Cons:

Las instalaciones no se parecen a las imágenes del hotel. Se ven viejas en la realidad y un poco faltas de mantenimiento. No obstante, el personal es muy amable y pendiente de cómo ayudar. No servía la caja fuerte y las paredes y baldosas estaban rotas y quebradas. Pero todo lo de más funcionaba perfecto!
