Its a great place to stay in old town.
Pros:

I have now stayed twice at the hotel and I really like it. I will be back in September. Its well located, clean, friendly and well maintained. The room cleaning staff is very good and attentive. Its a good value.

Warm, beautiful and walkable

Hotel Posada Roger represents everything we go to Puerto Vallarta for.
Warm welcome, warm weather, beautiful location, warm and beautiful people.
I can’t express enough how much the staff at the hotel enhanced our enjoyment of our vacation; Rosie, of the front desk staff is especially kind, knowledgeable and helpful.
Our room was lovely with Mexican decor and artwork; along with a very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean.
The proximity to the beach, restaurants and walkability to all the neighborhood has to offer is perfect for us.(we didn’t need a car or taxi for 10 days!)

A true gem in the Romantic Zone
Pros:

I have stayed with this place several times and the service is amazing. The staff always has smiles on their faces and they all greet you so pleasantly. If you have a request they get on it immediately. A 5 Star treatment.

One early morning I had an issue with noise and called the desk to address it with the other guests causing the noise . I contacted him 2 times and it was not addressed. I conferred with the GM the next morning and he handled it and I was totally satisfied.

The place is very close to the middle of everything and all within walking distance. Restaurants, events, bars, clubs all within short blocks of walking if not next door. THe beach is 2 short blocks away and the Malecon is a beautiful walk along the beach with so many beautiful and interesting sculptures along the way.

I am definitely returning to this gem in old city of PV! I highly suggest it!

I have stayed at 5 star resorts and never receive such pleasant greetings and friendlyness from ALL staff!

very well located and easy access to anything

Cons:

during night it stays closed and you have to look for someone to open to get into the patio. i know it’s for security but sometimes you go out or are getting back and gotta wait until someone to come open
