When there is no parking space, guests are advised to park their car at the public parking 'Vrijdagmarkt P1'.

I absolutely loved how helpful and heart-warming the staff were! No faults about the hotel, at all. The pool was gorgeous, and sitting up top on the chair beds at night was so lovely, too. Everything worked perfectly well. And we had a little pigeon friend just outside the door too which was sweet to see every morning and night! Also, a little cat came over to me when I was in the pool. Don't know which house she came from, but she was the sweetest little thing!!! Not a day where I wanted to head back home! Cannot wait to stay again!!
Our favourite hotel of all those we stayed in during our trip this summer. A great location for seeing the city. Friendly staff especially at breakfast. We used the garage parking which worked well.

De locatie vond ik het fijnst , en het ontbijt was ook super
Mijn moeder is ziek geworden wij hadden 2 nachten geboekt en ik heb dit meer als een week vroeger gemeld , ze toonde daar geen begrip voor en wij zijn helaas vroeger moeten vertrekken . Dus voor ons word dit volgende keer helaas niet meer dit hotel . En dan vragen ze nog 40 euro voor de parking per dag beetje schandalig als het hotel al zo duur is

Allereerst het uiterst behulpzame personeel. Het extra bedje stond er niet, maar werd meteen geregeld. Super vriendelijk en beleefd personeel. Kamer was super schoon en fancy. Daarnaast hebben ze een zwembad! Was schoon! Het was 33 graden buiten, we hebben h-e-e-r-l-i-j-k met het gezin gezwommen. Echt een prachtig hotel in een sprookjesachtige omgeving.
Minimale verbeterpunt is de airco.Bij binnenkomst was het heerlijk koel. Echter sNachts was het 23 graden en kregen we het niet gekoeld. Maar verder wel heel goed geslapen. En de maximale service heft dit kleine puntje weer op.
Perfekte Lage in der Innenstadt
Wir hatten ein Zimmer unter dem Dach (insgesamt gibt es 2). Die Verdunkelungsrollos haben sowohl die Hitze als auch das Tageslicht gut abgeschirmt. Das Zimmer ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet.
Die Lage ist in Gehdistanz zu den Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten. Restaurants gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe zahlreiche.
Wir sind mit dem ÖV angereist. Ab dem Bahnhof Gent erreicht man das Hotel mit dem Tram 4 (bis zur Endstation fahren) und einem Fussweg von ca. 5min.
Das Frühstück und die Bar haben wir nicht genutzt. In der Bar konnte man aber die eigene Wasserflasche durchgehend mit Wasser (still/sprudelnd) füllen. Bei den heissen Temperaturen haben wir dies sehr geschätzt.
Das Ein- und Auschecken verlief schnell und problemlos.
Generell war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit.
Für uns war das Lichtsystem nicht wirklich verständlich. Wir haben nicht herausgefunden, wie man nachts nur das Licht im Bad nutzen bzw. nur auf einer Seite des Bettes die Leselampe einstellt. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Great location in tourist heart of the city. The hotel seems to be based on an old building but has been highly modernised and fitted out out to a high standard. We loved the warm swimming pool nearly as much as the granchildren! Breakfasts were good but a little pricey for the modest diets of us over 70s. Couple of gripes: watch out for the bottom stone step as you come down the old wooden stairs from floor one - it's easy to miss and stumble. Also, although the rooms are large and fitted out to a very high standard; quirks like the set back taps over the basin being tricky to reach, set the overall score down a little.
