Great choice for a stay near the airport.
Pros:

Near the airport, near downtown, great suite with a kitchen and balcony for a family of five. Affordable, free parking, pool.

Cons:

Cable was available but couldn’t get Netflix on the tv., parts of the hotel were updated but others, like the bathrooms, were in need of updating.

On y passe en toute confiance quand on vient à Cairns
Pros:

Idéal quand on arrive par le dernier avion, late check in bien rodé, équipements corrects, bonne literie.

Cons:

Si il fallait vraiment trouver quelque chose on pourrait dire que le check out à 10h peut être un peu tôt, mais sans plus.

Not worth the price we paid
Pros:

I’m afraid I can’t say too much positive about this property other than the staff. The facility does offer parking along with a washer and dryer on the second floor, and it is within walking distance of the promenade.

Cons:

For what we paid I expected much more than I’m tired room that desperately needed a paint job as well as a good cleaning of the shower tiles, which were green. We were told we had been given an upgrade, but in actuality, we were given a handicap suite as the showerhead was located shoulder height, and I’m only 5’3“. As we were checking in, we overheard the price quoted to the gentleman in front of us that was staying for four nights and it was only $100 more than we paid for two. The explanation I was given is that we booked well in advance, which makes no sense to me.

I’m starting to suspect that when you book a room through Booking.com, they provide you with the least desirable as we have had little success with our hotels in Queensland.

Location is good. Customer service is amazing.

Cons:

The bathroom had water puddle. Looks like the hotel knew about the issue. They cleaned it when we mentioned this. However, unsure why they gave if they knew the room had the issue.

Personalen var så hjälpsamma och vänliga. Bra rum och tvättstuga fanns. Man kunde växla o köpa tvättmedel i receptionen. Fick bra hjälp med utflykt, Palm Cove.

Short stay in Cairns
Pros:

Thank goodness it’s for a one night stay. The place is a bit below average. The bathroom is a bit mouldy, the fridge is worn out.

Cons:

The place next door is ruined or under construction. And the Heritage is getting close to that status. It’s disgusting really. I think they should close it for renovation. That will givea bad reputation to Australian hospitality industry.
