Check in process was slow. Minimum standard toiletries and coffee in room. Breakfast area is very small
Single rooms were comfortable, clean and Goldilocks size (not too big or too small). Breakfast was also good.
We are celiac. Staff was very careful in preventing cross contamination. And she was very knowledgeable about gluten allergy.
We were confirmed via email that we can check in at 3 pm. However although we showed the email confirmation, one of staff members was very defensive saying that they do not get this confirmation. And our room is not ready because check in time is 4 pm. We had to go somewhere to wait for 4 pm. Shortly we received a message that our room is ready. I think staff could have better handled this situation. If there is a miscommunication between hotel and Booking.com site, it should be acknowledged rather than rudely denying any knowledge. If we knew that we cannot checkin before 4 pm, we would add other activities in our plans, but after waiting for 15 minutes for other two coustomers to be checked in (why they had their room ready?) because the hotel computer was glitching, we ended up with the news that our room is not ready in quite rude and strict manner. While we were very polite and just showed the confirmation email. Other staff member was apologizing and we totally understand that some things are out of control of the hotel. But the way how one of staff handled this and treated us was quite frustrating.
Very friendly staff and very clean. Great location and love that the hotel allows pets at no extra cost so will bring my dog next time for sure. Decent hot breakfast and quite comfortable bed.
The only thing I wish is the windows had light curtains under the blackout drapes on the main level so I can open the curtains for some natural light without people from the parking looking in.
The breakfast was terrible. Terrible selection and what was there was dried out. The selection could have been better like having cheese slices for the egg and English muffins
