Pros:

The hotel is located just around the corner from Paddington Station. From the outside, it looks absolutely charming. The breakfast was very simple and served in a small basement dining room—basic, but still quite cozy and full of character.

Dolphin Hotel Review
Pros:

Fantastic weekend at the Dolphin. Room was great, breakfast was lovely and had an enjoyable couple of nights in the pub. Kent and the team made for a top weekend.

Very close to Paddington Station
Pros:

Room was large enough for all of us and it's a very short walk to Paddington station and Hyde Park. Loads of restaurants around, for all budgets.

Cons:

Was very hot in the room and lots of noise from the street if we kept the windows open

A lovely welcome, a first floor room with a balcony. A small but perfectly suitable room with clean shower room.
Pros:

Extremely close to Paddington station, and the surrounding area had plenty of facilities.

Cons:

Due to the age of the property, narrow stairs and no lift .

Super Lage, aber viel zu teuer für den gebotenen Standard.
Pros:

Wir besuchten eine Veranstaltung im Hydepark. Dieser war fußläufig erreichbar. Auch die Haltestelle für diverse Hopp on Hopp Off Anbieter ist buchstäblich vor der Haustür. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es Pubs und Cafés. Die Haltestelle Paddington ist ca 5 Minuten entfernt. Die Lage ist phantastisch. Man fühlt sich wohl und sicher.

Cons:

Typisch für Londoner Verhältnisse. Das Fenster ließ sich bei den Temperaturen nur einen Spalt öffnen. Das Bad war eher eine winzige Nasszelle, abgeteilt vom Zimmer. So etwas haben wir bislang nicht gesehen. Sehr abgewohnt.

Pros:

Elhelyezkedés nagyon jó volt, nekem ez volt a legfontosabb. A személyzet kedvesen és segìtőkészen viselkedett. Ha kérdésem / kérésem volt, azt teljesìtették. A szállás ár-érték arányban megfelelő, legalábbis londoni viszonylatban és elhelyezkedést figyelembe vève.

Cons:

A kontinentális reggelitől többet vártam. 1 féle felvágott és 1 féle zöldség (sőt egyik reggel nem is volt zöldség) volt végig. 4 napig ugyanezt enni folyamatosan nem túl változatos. Attól, hogy kontinentális a reggeli, még lehetne fantáziadúsabb, leginkább többnapot, szálláson tartozkódó vendégek kedvéért. A metroállomás közelsége miatt a szálloda és a szobám falai is beleremegtek minden egyes metro elhaladásba. Sokat nem voltam a szállodában napközben, de reggel és este is zavaró volt. Szerencsére este 11 és reggel 6 óra között nem jártak a metrok, ìgy alvást nem befolyásolta.

Great stay for a quick London break
Pros:

Excellent location close to Paddington.
Single room on the 3rd floor overlooking Norfolk square; I was able to have the window wide open & look out on the trees- essential for the high temperatures.
A fan was also a great thing to have.
Good shower, comfortable bed.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like; although I had to carry my suitcase up 3 flights- so not for the faint- hearted

we stayed for 5 nights and we were assigned the room on the fourth floor where the stairs were narrow and it was very difficult to climb and what's more, as soon as we arrived at check-in we had to carry our suitcases up to the fourth floor by ourselves, as far as the cleaning of the rooms was concerned it was done but in a hasty manner, the beds were only changed once in a week upon request. There was no air conditioning and only upon request were we given a second fan. The reception was minimal and unhelpful.

Come dormire in stazione, in tutti i sensi

Ottima posizione, a pochi passi dalla stazione di Paddington e in una zona molto carina.

Cons:

Dalla stanza al piano terra dove ho alloggiato si sentivano i rumori della metro che passa sotto la struttura. Non era un rumore lontano, quasi impercettibile, ma un frastuono che provocava anche le vibrazioni degli oggetti nella camera. Insomma, impossibile dormire, se non nella fascia 12:30 - 5:30am che la metro chiude. Ritengo che una camera con una situazione del genere non andrebbe messa a disposizione degli ospiti.

Unhelpful staff.
Pros:

The stairs are narrow and the treads slope. Staff refused to help my 80 year old Mum take her suitcase up 4 flights of stairs (2nd floor).

You can hear and feel the trains rumbling at nearby Paddington. It didn't prevent us from sleeping, but it's worth noting.

Location is pleasant and convenient.
