Excellent value and location in Norwich
Pros:

Location great (walk to town), excellent breakfast and spacious well-appointed room. Greeted by an actual person instead of contactless check-in; appreciated that. Good parking on site, also appreciated.

Cons:

Only drawback: bed mattress not so comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a box spring.

Friendly staff and fantastic location bang in the centre of town.
Pros:

Very friendly staff in reception and the restaurant. Surprisingly little noise from the road, even with the window open at night. Great breakfast.

Cons:

Exterior needs a lick of paint.

Comfortable and great location.
Pros:

Great location and I requested a bath and got a bath.

Cons:

Brief sadness when receptionist told me the room I had reserved ages ago with bath tub - only had shower. But that changed when we got to room and saw it had both!

Lovely hotel within a short walk of the centre
Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Room was spacious, comfortable, clean and contained everything that we required.
Car parking is in front of the hotel and there were plenty of spaces.
You could easily walk into the centre of Norwich; it takes about 6 minutes.

Cons:

There wasn't very much. We were disappointed with the restaurant menu as most items contained garlic which we have an intolerance to. However the chef was very accommodating and we had a meal that was garlic free.

My sister and I have been staying for years at the G T it’s a great place to stay

Great location, good breakfast but needs more old

Location. Large bed. Excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Unexpectedly we were in an annexe across the road from the main hotel. Room bore little resemblance to photos accessed in the booking.vom website. The cooker in our apartment was “condemned”, the door lock was loose, and the outside furniture was overrun with fallen leaves. Not well looked after. Bathroom was bath only with hand shower - not ideal. No ventilation at all in bathroom. Only pleased I was not there in warmer weather. Overall, not great value for a Sunday night in Norwich.

Pros:

Great location and ideal for a stay with the dog. Lovely breakfast and staff.

Cons:

Had difficulty parking when we arrived as there seemed to be a function on in the bar, but more spaces later on.

Pros:

It was convenient for our stay while visiting our daughter for the evening.
Although we booked a cosy room it was bigger than expected. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the bathroom let our room down. The toilet needed a good clean and bleach, had obviously only had a cursory clean as had the while bathroom, and as for the toilet brush, that was disgustingly dirty! The very old toilet roll holder was broken and lying on the floor and broken hook on back of bathroom door missing and not replaced. The bed was 2 single beds joined together and for us was very uncomfortable. There were some nice touches with the variety of teas etc but in general a tired room needing a bigger television and a new carpet as very worn and marked.
