Comfortable and quiet stay with good food.
Pros:

The managers were very good and the food was good.

Cons:

We had a couple of issues with the room we were given, but after a polite chat with the duty manger, it was sorted immediately with no fuss, we were given another room to stay in.
The restaurant staff need a little more training, especially the younger ones, a simple question about what could be ordered from the bed and breakfast menu was not able to be answered by the younger staff member, but luckily the duty shift manager heard the question and corrected it with the right answer.

Pros:

The room was very cosy and clean. The staff at the hotel were all really helpful and polite. I had dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent both times.

Manager helpful…all staff willing but some inexperienced
Pros:

Breakfast exceptional, dinner very good but not enough choice, room very well equipped but no instructions for gadgets, superb bed, but bathroom lacked shelf for own toiletries. No printed menu etc, limited coffee facility, no tourist information, mini bar well stocked but not necessary - no bottle opener. Good, large general bar area. Free parking. Large garden.

Cons:

POD coffee machine unsuitable, with no sachet alternative. Other critiques as above.

Overnight stay in Norwich
Pros:

Stayed in the Colonel's Retreat, a 2 bed apartment just over the road from the main hotel. Small kitchenette with coffee machine and a few pods. Beds enormous and very comfortable. Upstairs lounge with big TV (TV in the bedrooms too) and desk space plus little balcony. One beautifully-decorated bathroom with over-bath shower (not massively hot but was fine). Better value for money than getting 2 separate bedrooms. Shot walk over the flyover into the city centre, with lots of restaurants and cafes within reach. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on quality.

Cons:

All fine.

Toujours un plaisir de séjourner dans cette belle demeure.
Pros:

Nous avons déjà effectué plusieurs séjours dans cet hôtel. Nous y apprécions beaucoup la gentillesse et l'efficacité du personnel. La situation est parfaite : tout près du centre ville de Norwich à pied. L'hôtel bénéficie d'un magnifique et très agréable jardin, d'un restaurant de qualité et d'un bar très sympathique. Le must : un parking ! le cadre est superbe et décoré avec goût.
Nous tenons aussi à remercier très chaleureusement la direction : nous avons eu un souci d'eau chaude dans notre chambre et la réponse commerciale apportée a été si généreuse que nous en sommes encore très gênés. Merci encore 1000 fois à toute l'équipe.

Bar downstairs excellent

Cons:

Cushions and throws needed renewed . Mattress lumpy. No DND sign for door. Wasn’t sure if we got room cleaned every day and clean towels.

Pros:

De locatie is echt perfect om in Norwich rond te lopen. Het hotel ligt tegen het centrum aan. Kon de auto er ook goed kwijt.
Aangezien het hotel zelf was volgeboekt, kreeg ik een upgrade naar een appartement aan de andere kant van de straat.

Cons:

Het appartement had geen normale douche. Was alleen een mogelijkheid om in het bad te zitten en met de handdouche te wassen. Dat zou ik zeker anders willen. Dan toch liever een hotelkamer met een normale douche.
