Pros:

Location was great, really nicely decorated room, loved the touches to the room, welcoming and safe

Cons:

There was an event going on in the evening which was super loud - luckily the room was pretty sound proofed but it was so hot we wanted to open the window but it was then too loud, no aircon but a fan that really did nothing. We wouldn’t stay there again in the summer for this reason but would in the winter

Best of three wasn’t great.
Pros:

Free parking.

Cons:

The place overall is in need of some TLC.
We were in three rooms on the property total. The third being the best of three. The first was an apartment and the carpets were dirty, soiled and worn. We refused to stay there and moved to the main property. We stayed in room #10 - tiny and equally dirty and HOT. There was no airflow - couldn’t even open the windows properly. Not to mention the broken mattress spring that tore through the mattress and the sheet to poke me in the leg. Overall the walls throughout the property were dirty and there were air fresheners in the rooms and hallways to cover up the stale dirty smells. The third room #19 was by far an improvement. Fortunately there was no carpet which helped however there was mold in the bathroom along the outside of the tub which was malodorous. The shade cold also be replaced as it did not open fully and was also worn and dirty.

Fab Hotel!
Pros:

Great location. Very “bougie” according to my teenager! Room 12 was really large, great facilities (welcome treat, bottle of water, Smeg mini fridge, coffee maker, etc). Comfy beds. lovely bathroom. Fab breakfast too!

Cons:

The weather was scorchio and the room was sweltering, despite the windows being open. There was a small fan that didn’t do much unfortunately. A more powerful fan or a couple of them might have been better, but I get you can’t help the weather, so not really a complaint!

Lovely but rooms too warm!
Pros:

Really lovely place at the back to sit, have a drink and a meal. Loads of places to sit, under the trees and a lovely atmosphere

Cons:

Room 5 was so hot, am sure all the rooms in that part of the hotel would be the same. Really nicely decorated and lovely antiques but the heat in the room was unbearable. There was a fan in the room but all that did was move the warm air around. I do accept it's an old building but you really do need portable air conditioning units in these rooms!

Ok but wouldn’t hurry to stay again.
Pros:

The tea and coffee facilities, iron was a nice touch and the bottle of water. Good location to walk to the city centre.

Cons:

The room was a bit tired and in need of decorating. Pillows not good quality, I asked the cleaner to get me a better one and she did.
