Great hotel to see Edinburgh on a budget
Pros:

Clean room and friendly staff. Room is compact and some would say basic but it had everything you needed

Cons:

Some of the furniture and fixtures in bathroom could use fixing / replacing but that is just an aesthetic thing not a functional thing.

Budget friendly no frills hotel by Haymarket train station
Pros:

Very reasonable for Edinburgh, close to Haymarket station and easy to navigate to all the famous sites on foot. Very accommodating staff who looked after our bags before check in and after check out.

Cons:

Our sink was very small which made filling the kettle tricky and we weren't given enough towels on day one - this was fixed the following day though, and no hand soap in the dispensers

Pros:

Hospitality and service of room was amazing. Mr. Khaled at the reception was really kind. The location of this property is 11/10 !!!

Cons:

There was literally no one at the reception to facilitate us after 10 pm till 2 pm, so would request for someone to be there . Thank you

The location

Cons:

This is a very old building with no facilities whatsoever. No breakfast room. I did not feel safe although the bedroom door had a good lock. The room was very big. It did not warrant being described as a luxury room!

Passable for a convenient location, one night only
Pros:

Quite old and tired, great location next to Haymarket and convenient for one night.

Cons:

Bed very soft on edges, curtains very light so for mid summer it was light most of the night. Toilet very slow to fill and sounded like it was over filling, shower screen very stiff, shower spray small

Lieber nicht!
Pros:

Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Toilette waren sauber. Günstige Lage direkt an der Haymarket Station und fussläufig zur Stadt

Cons:

In diesem Zimmer (Birdcage Walk) wird alles irgendwie notdürftig zusammengehalten, auch die wackeligen Steckdosen.
Das Fenster ist mit einer Pappe „repariert “
Es gibt zwar ein „Bad “ im Zimmer, aber keine Tür, nur einen Vorhang.
Die Duschkabine fällt bald auseinander, aber wenn man lange genug wartet kommt immerhin heißes Wasser.
TV funktionierte nicht
Ich habe mich nicht wohlgefühlt und würde nicht wiederkommen

Nous avons eu la grande chambre très spacieuse. Grande salle de bain avec douche et baignoire. Lit à baldaquin + petit salon et bureau.
