The hotel and staff were lovely, the hotel location was very good and easy routes to drive everywhere, the people were friendly and there is night clubs situated in front of the hotel with a car park to put your car safely. You can see Singapore from the hotel and the Singapore crossing Bridge
The room was ok, the bath had been painted and flakes of paint were coming off, the bed was comfortable apart from long black hairs in the bed on the sheets, it was not mine as I have blonde long hair
Near to the ferry jetty as we are going to Tanjung Pinang and Batam
Old facilities and too close to thne intertainment outlet. Very noisy at night.

The rooms are outdated, some toilets smelled of pee, some smelled of smoke. Bedsheets were either dark or stained and just very scary to lie down in. Bath tubs are either cracked, stained or just plain dirty. The toilets are filthy and smelly. There’s a shady ktv right inside the hotel ar level
6 that starts to play VERY LOUD AND BOOMING music from midnight to arounr 4 or 5 am. This is a hotel where people are supposed to have a good night’s rest, a safe feeling. These are all impossible to have at this place. Extra towels (that looked like rags) are chargeable at 10 myr, cash upfront. Staff don’t look like they care. Or perhaps already immune to all the complaints.
I’d understand if the place is old but at least keep it clean. I had to buy bleach to spray on the toilets because I have young kids with me. Had to spray bed bug sprays on the bed because they’re very itchy. Meeting rooms are dusty and horribly smelly (like wet molds). Sore throat, allergic rhinitis are definitely a possibility.
The pool was filthy - be ready to swim with birds and see birds poo.
We had no choice because this was booked under a big community event we’re a part of, otherwise there’s definitely no way that this would be a place to stay in.

The flashing toilet is slow.
Everything went well after we do our check in and then go to the room. But we have to go back to the reception, cause the card could not connect to the electricity. FO called for the maintenance to do checking, but they just do few times of re-put the card to the device once and again until everything if ON in the room.
We then rest for 2 hours in the room, but the air con turned off for 5 times automatically. Checked for the "sleep" setting but it didn't turn on. We then out for dinner and stop by FO to do complaints about the AC, before we went back to the room. The maintenance then came, changed the card and wait for about 20 mins and left after found that the AC is good (so we guess maybe the card problem)
We then went to sleep and magically the light went on by itself on around 2.30 AM... firstly i thought it was my son turn it on accidently because there is a switch beside the bed. But it was not him. me then turned off the light and it on again and I can hear it on from the switch beside the door.
environment not very suitable for elder or for resting, there are club below the hotel, and music on until 5AM (i fell asleep on that time, after the light miracle)
But It is indeed a very nice location because it is just right beside the ferry terminal, and near to city center as well. Breakfast is various (standard presentation)
