Restaurant had a very poor, limited choice on the menu and quality of the food was not anywhere near expectations given the cost of accomodation.
The location
There wasnt much facilities for the price I paid
View
Room like an Ovan no fresh air even with 2 fans the menu choice was pathetic lots on it not available
Location and bar area. Staff behind the bar were great.
Rooms are dated and could do with a spruce up
A little bit pricey but it is nice
Breakfast was worth every penny (good range of food and drinks). Parking spot on, only stayed for one night.
Staff nice.
Would go back for a quick stay.
The bar hours 5pm-1am this wasn't convenient to our stay as we were expecting refreshments once we had settled in but it wasn't open.
Their is no lift and alot of corridors and stairs to tackle.
Outside seating area was very low maintenance
Bathroom taps with limescale, not the best especially when paid for a upgrade
Size of the suite and the view of the Humber bridge from the terrace
No air conditioning so the room was like an oven. No attempt had been made to open the windows before our arrival. Even then the windows would hardly open due to them being alarmed
everything was fine- the room, the bed and the breakfast.
nothing to add.
Our room was at the far end of one of the wings and my husband had mobility problems. The hotel was not full and we were not offered a room closer to public facilities.
The breakfast was very good - good "organic" foods that I expect from hotels. No food additives or preservatives. The view from the restaurant looks over the Humber Bridge.
PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL COMMENTS - RESTRICTED. FOR THE HOTEL MANAGER ONLY.
The room had no Air Con. so it felt hot. ROOM 19.
There was no lift to get to my room so I had to drag my bag up and down some stairs. This was difficult as I am 61 years old and have hip pain.
The chair in the room was huge and heavy. It would be better to have a normal light weight dining chair.
It would help to have a grab rail on the wall next to the shower to help climb out of the bathtub.
The shower was too powerful - it would help save water if it was less so.
Location
Perfect location for my needs visiting Hessle and Brough.
Hotel very quiet at my visit which suits me.
Nothing to be unhappy about! Looks a well run hotel.
Small matter of a bad shower rose/hose connection which sprayed water everywhere.
No problem with any other aspect of my stay.
