Great location, easy access to the city
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful.
Great location and plenty of outdoor space for dog walking and view of the Humber bridge.

Not what I expected
Pros:

the Location was nice

Cons:

no facilities to move around with a baby, no lifts, difficult to move around the hotel, felt stuck in a room. Would not recommend if you are traveling with a baby

Pros:

I lived opposite the Hotel when it was built in the 70s. I use it regularly when i visit Hull to see old friends in the area.

Cons:

The place is very tired on the floors that are supposed to be their signature rooms.
Work to be done and they need to take into account the age and potential difficulties for older guests.

I like this hotel but room for improvement

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing.

I was initially given the wrong room and, when I raised the issue, was told that I would need to upgrade to a suite if I wanted a better room. Considering the amount I paid, I expected a much higher standard.

The hotel itself is very run down and, in my opinion, does not come close to matching the price paid. The restaurant that is advertised was also not available. Instead, there was only a very limited bar menu, which was a major disappointment.

The reviews I had read before booking also seem to be quite old, and I now understand why the current condition of the hotel doesn’t appear to match them.

Overall, this was a very poor experience and certainly not what I expected. In fact, this hotel has left me hoping that I never need to visit Hull again.

Good staff, location, and value but spoiled by poor night's sleep due to the room being too hot

Pros:

Easy check-in, easy booking an extra night, parking right out front.

Cons:

Beds are not made for people over 180cm.
It was very hot (mid-summer) and a small fan couldn't make the room less hot.

Het was prima. Alles was er.

Cons:

Het personeel kwam verveeld op me over en weinig gastvrij. Alsof het vervelend was dat ik een drankje wilde bestellen (er waren amper andere gasten dus tijd zat?) De dame bij het ontbijt was wel erg hartelijk.
