Buzz Killers!!
Pros:

A relatively new hotel but service and response were non-existent!! I had two rooms reserved for my family to attend an event in Birmingham.

I frequent Hilton properties (HGV Owner) and this place does not deserve the Hilton name. I give this rating mainly for management response (or lack of) to issues.

I have wasted days and a minimum of ten(10) phone calls to be reimbursed for a cancelled night. The manager threw the whole 'event' on corporate. Hilton did eventually resolve the situation but informed me that the hotel was responsible.

There was no concern when I mentioned that we awoke to NO AC - a hot room that the lady at the front desk accused me of not setting the AC properly - HA!!

The 'Bagel Bar' needs more attention. It was like a dirty kitchen - no utensils, spills and most importantly 'luke warm' coffee and rolling eyes when I mentioned the coffee was not HOT.

This is my first post to Trip Advisor because you need to be aware before reserving. All of this could have been avoided with a simple 'sorry for inconvenience' or 'an apology'. Just blank cold stares!

Decent with few flaws
Pros:

Beds were comfortable and the location was close to lots of stores and restaurants.

Cons:

There was a roach in our food that we left on the counter while we went to a comedy show. There was also a good size stain on the carpet.

Excellent location, competitively priced, with an outstanding staff.
Pros:

The staff was exceptionally professional and helpful. The lady at the front desk took care of the reservation efficiently and answered all questions in a welcoming manner.

It smell good and huge room.

Cons:

210 was our room and we could not assess key to enter in and out. We are honors members and staff was away from front desk so we was outside door knocking on the door to get inside for 10 min for someone to let us in. Bad service. Our bathroom was full of water. Not good. Noone made sure to fix problem. This was not good. We also had bugs.

We liked how clean and spacious the room was but the AC was really making it uncomfortable at night

The area was quiet and peaceful and very clean

Cons:

We arrived and the room read 76 degrees. The AC was not the best. We changed it to our accommodations but it stayed on 73 and that is toohot for the summer time.

Besides the breakfast, & one elevator, it was ok.
Pros:

Clean & staff was pleasant.

Cons:

Coffee was cold & it had big black things in it which tells me the container wasn’t cleaned regularly. It was my last cup. The breakfast was not good. The muffin was hard as a rock, inedible. There was only one elevator that we could find. Not good if there would have been an emergency.
