Was where I wanted to stay
A lot of stairs.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Walking distance to Hyde park and transport systems.
However, the hotel itself is diabolical. Our room was right next door to the linen store so constant noise from the staff in/out of the cupboards and talking amongst themselves. Our room had no air conditioning and was absolutely boiling hot and stuffy. The fan done absolutely nothing. Very noisy as can hear conversations and movement from other rooms in the hotel as well as constant noise from the trains.
The location of the hotel was very convenient to both mass transit (train and bus) as well as a good amount of restaurants. There was also a nice park right across the street that helped balance out the large # of buildings in the area. We also appreciated the front desk's willingness to hold our luggage after we checked out until our train departed later that afternoon. Finally, the breakfast was delicious!
I think this hotel is best suited for traveling parties of no more than two; the room got very small when adding that third bed in, and there was little room left to spread out. It was also a bit expensive compared to what I am used to paying for hotels with rooms of that size.

Great location, nice staff, tiny room, single bed, but great linens and a new bathroom. A few issues - you cannot drink the water in the hotel but they do provide drinking water. The reason for this is that the pipes are old but the problem is that the sign that says not potable water isn’t where the tap is. It’s up high and I did not see it until I drank the water. The sign needs to be down low where the tap is. Everything would’ve been infinitely better if the hallway carpets were either removed or replaced. They are so threadbare that the red is nonexistent in most of the carpet; just the white underneath shows. This causes a great deal of concern on your way to your room. I thought oh my goodness what have I done but I was happy enough with the room once I got inside.

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend und von der Sauberkeit der Zimmer und der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter war es auch gut.
Allerdings fand ich das Preis/Leistungsvrhältnis nicht gut. Immerhin kostete eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück fast 200 €, wovon der größte Teil wohl Steuern und Gebühren sind. Hierzu habe ich eine AUfschlüsselung vermisst.
Die Zimmer waren winzig und bei der Hitze (für die das Hotel natürlich nicht verantwortlich ist) sehr stickig und heiß. Dem Bekannten, mit dem ich gereist war, war das Zimmer im Souterrain viel zu eng und stickig, so dass er noch am ersten Abend eine Alternative gesucht und zum Glück gefunden hat.

Great location. Close to the station at Paddington and we were able to leave our bags before our room was ready. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.
There was no lift to the fourth floor and the stairs were narrow. Not a problem if you are mobile with hand luggage only but if you have heavy bags it would be an issue. On a hot night we missed air con but there was a fan and we were able to open windows.

Our room was next to the hotels linen store so constant noise and chatter from staff who were working. Also lots of noise from outside and from other guests rooms.
Çalışanlar guler yuzlu, odalar temiz ve tertipliydi. Kahvalti yeterliydi. Konumu metro ve otobus duraklarinin cok yakinindaydi. Zaten ilk tercih nedenimiz konumu ve geleneksel ingiliz evi tarzi olmasiydi.
Merdivenleri cok dik asansor yok. Cocuklu ve esyasi cok aileler icin sıkıntı olabilir. Odalar ve banyo kucuk Cocuklari +12 olan 4 kişilik bir aile olarak biz biraz sıkildik. Yataklari yan yana dizmisler hareket alani cok az 2 gece kaldigimiz icin idare ettik. En önemlisi otelde klima yok. Biz ingiltere nin yilda cok az rastlanan en sicak 2 gunune denk geldigimiz icin oda sicak ve nemliydi. Uyumakta zorluk cektik. Vantilator ile idare etmeye calistik.
