Lived up to our expectations
Pros:

Everything was good. Hired bikes from hotel which we could recharge the electric bike overnight in safe hotel garage.

Pros:

Schitterend gelegen hotel aan de baai van West-Terschelling; mooi ingerichte kamer en een heerlijke badkamer. Ontbijt in het restaurant was prima en ook daar het grandioze uitzicht op de Waddenzee en de haven. Vriendelijk en voorkomend personeel die je vriendelijk en vlot te woord stonden.

Cons:

Het balkon was eigenlijk niet bruikbaar, de vloer was zwart uitgeslagen en de regenpijp zat ook vol roestplekken. Verder is het een zaak om e.e.a. op de kamers bij te houden, zoals de achterwand van het bed en miste er her en der verf van de muur (in de hal naar de badkamer).

Belachelijke prijzen per nacht tijdens Oerol. Marktwerking o.k maar dit voelt als flessentrekkerij. €430,- per nacht is echt wel veel te veel voor dit niveau

A comfy home base away from home.
Pros:

Comfortable spaces from bedroom to hallways, from bike storage to restaurant deck. A nice touch was having photos of birds on the room doors, complete with QR code to gain information on any of the birds. I appreciated that they offered bike rentals, and that many of the bikes they had were e-bikes.
