BOOKING DOT COM MADE ERROR BOOKING TWO DAYS AHEAD STAFF AT HOTEL GAVE US A ROOM ANYWAYS.
Amazing views, super quiet. Bed was really comfortable
Found the room got very cold overnight. We had turned the heater off as it was very noisy, but the room cooled down very quickly.
The location, the view, breakfast was good and the staff were lovely
We specifically booked a room with a bath but got allocated a different room. Went to staff and were apologetic with the mix up and it was rectified as good as can be for us. Upon entering the room it was very musty smelling, windows have hand marks all over it, next to the toilet on the wall was markings of god knows what, the mugs were dusty and one was full of dust and water and the heater was good but no way to turn down the fan so was very loud. Room could have done with a microwave too but other than was good
resturant onsite a bonus, room tidy
therwes a slight smell in rooms
Kinda decent location
Nothing like the pictures posted.
No extra blankets.
Requested a baby cot, was approved but wasn’t in the room when we arrived.
Baby cot didn’t have a mattress, and we got given two TOWELS to be used as BLANKETS.
Tidy and comfortable
A budget hôtel stuck in 1987, at a considerable price. Hard Pillows probably also vintage. First hotel room the toilet didn’t flush. Had to be moved. No cutlery provided beyond glasses mugs and teaspoons-short sighted to think this will force guests to eat in their restaurant.
The most unwelcoming loveless environment inside the restaurant. The restaurants coffee machine was broken so even that failed the client. A trip to The Death Star Cafeteria would have been preferable.
This hotel chain needs to refurbish and refurbish it’s attitude towards the business. A miserly business model.
It is lazy and cynical to rely on tour bus contracts and invest the absolute minimum in keeping the business ticking over.
You can’t just extract as a corporation. Corporate cynicism is always transparent to the client or guest.
Keep going this way and the hotel chain will fail.
The location to area.
Every day in the morning and the evening loads of buses of Chinese tourists arrive at night around 6pm and leave in the morning at around 6:30am/7:30am. They have no manners ansd in the breakfast area eat and act like people who have never seen food nor experienced manners. They were filling up their water bottles from the cranberry and milk dispensers. Reaching across you when you are trying to choose your own food. The experience was very off-putting. When I questioned the floor manager at the time "How do you put up with this?" he said that he could do nothing otherwise they would lose the clientele booking agency. They were even walking out filling up their pockets with additional food items.
staff were lovely
it is very dated and a destination for transiting tour buses so very busy
Unfortunately for me there was a sports event on in the area and the hotel was packed with teenagers. Was a bit noisy until 9pm and the restaurant was very full. Avoided breakfast to avoid the crowd. Unlucky timing for me. Happy to stay again.
It was very central to where we wanted to go. The restaurant. Food and Staff was amazing
The rooms felt cold and damp as were the beds no.electric blankets and very hard
