The rooms were super clean and cold. Large bathroom shower. Large Flat screen TV. Location was nice. The Filipina Girl Employée at the Front Desk was wonderful. Smiled all the time and super professional. My wife enjoyed seeing an employee from her homeland that understood her language. She made my wife feel great.
Hated how expensive parking was. 55 bucks for overnight is insane. Parking cost me a total of 70 bucks this trip and we were there one night. Hate the tiny front entry door that makes you twist sharply twice down a narrow hall to get in. Impossible with luggage and there was no luggage carts. Room was nice but small. Walked in the restaraunt anf no one greeted us or said a word and no wait staff ever came to me. We ended up getting up and leaving
Bistro staff was very friendly! The staff was very welcoming.
Accessibility
The property was alright including staff but i was charged extra of $98 + by the guy named DJ , the receptionist , and he told me that he finally figured out so i want my money back to the card I used, the extra charge .
quick check in with smiling faces :)
Conveniently in the heart of the city but with city views there’s no onsite parking besides the expensive valet
It’s right next to the Marta station.
The streaming service did not work. Told to unplug TV and plug it back in which is not what I would have expected. The bathroom door was broken and could not be opened from inside if you closed it. So no privacy because you had to keep it open part way. Repaired after 2 days. There was a roar every 20-30 minutes from the AC or boiler room next to 507 all night. It was a dark room and really unpleasant floor lamp that did not throw much light. Lobby was tiny and small kiosk had little stock - just junk food. Breakfast place closes by 10am on a Sunday (but they came out to sell me a cup of coffee)
I travel a lot and believe one should trust Marriott but this Atlanta downtown hotel was bad.
Everybody was very friendly & the hotel was very clean
