Dirty sheets, red-stained comforter, clogged shower.
We discussed this with the staff, the evening we arrived, and then the next morning at 6:30 (we didn’t stay for breakfast - we just had to get out). They said the manager would call us about compensation that morning when he got in, but never did. I will call after the holiday weekend.
The room was very spacious clean. It was close to restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
In some of the photos, it showed a pool and there was no pool.

Absolutely horrible customer service. We had cancelled a reservation over the phone due to change in travel plans and spoke with someone, but forgot to write down a confirmation number. We were charged for the night and when I called to request a refund, manager would not work with me to refund the charge ($269). I inquired politely and am a long term Marriott rewards member, he did not care. We stay in Marriotts all the time and now will be looking at other hotels before Marriotts in the future due to this experience.
No rooms were available through the hotel's site so had to book third party. A two-bed room was not available when I booked so booked a smaller room anyway for my 5-person family. Brought a cot for my littlest to make the room work for all. Called a few days before and asked if an upgraded room became available. Since I booked third party there was nothing they could do at the time but said I could check again when I check in. Asked at check in and they had already reserved the upgraded for me! Very accommodating!
Location can't be beat. So close to food and entertainment.
The train coming through but that can't be helped and it made it unique.
