I've been staying at this hotel since 2014, and it continues to be my preferred choice in Mumbai. The location is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the food is consistently delicious. Room service is prompt and efficient, while the laundry service is reliable and always delivered on time. What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. The Front Office, Concierge, Security, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Room Service teams are warm, courteous, and highly professional, making every stay feel like coming home rather than staying at a hotel. A consistently outstanding guest experience and highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai – A Disappointing Decline in Hospitality Standards My experience at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the international standards associated with the Marriott brand. Despite being located just about 5 km from the airport, the hotel does not provide complimentary airport pickup or drop, which is inconvenient for travelers. The check-in experience was the biggest letdown. As a regular Marriott Bonvoy member, I expected a smooth, welcoming, and respectful arrival. Instead, the process was lengthy, argumentative, and unnecessarily stressful—completely spoiling the first impression of the stay. I was asked to provide a security deposit that exceeded the total value of my stay, even though my card had already been pre-authorized during the reservation. When I politely requested the new policy or process in writing, the request was simply denied instead of being explained transparently. I also had to explain that my Diners Club card is an accepted payment method, despite this being clearly supported by Marriott. Guests should never have to educate hotel staff on their own payment policies or benefits available through the Marriott Bonvoy app. Unfortunately, this property no longer reflects the level of hospitality and professionalism expected from an international hotel chain. Many non-international hotels now provide a far smoother, more respectful, and guest-focused check-in experience without turning the arrival into an unnecessary debate. I hope the management reviews its front desk procedures, improves staff training, and restores the service standards that guests associate with the Marriott brand.

They made my birthday lunch very special.

Spent a weekend at this hotel. As always we had a great time. Rooms are clean with all the Aminities kept prior to arrival. Good and comfortable bed. We ordered from in room dining for dinner, delicious food and very courteous staff. Swimming pool staff is friendly and attentive.
What stands out is the breakfast service. Abhijit and his team takes excellent care and add value to the great breakfast spread.

Excellent stay and top notch service

The dining area staff were all very helpful. Room was good but could be better as some of their furniture are a bit old and needs changing.

Clean and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Also got us an early check in which was really nice considering we came after a long intercontinental flight.

Amazing experience as always. The staff were so humble and professional and made our stay as comfortable as home. The hotel is very clean and the variety they had in breakfast is so huge. The chef there came to see us and asked if we wanted anything that wasn't in the menu and made a point to get it for us.
We truly appreciated every aspect of our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so special.
