I expected it to be better.

Cons:

Light above the bathroom mirror would not come on. When I tried to call the front desk, the phone wouldn't work. It took time to learn that the cord to the handset would not stay in the phone base.

When I finally rigged it enough to make a phone call, the lady at the front desk told me there was no one on staff to change the lightbulbs at the time and she did not know how to do it.

If I pay this kind of money to stay in a nice hotel, I would hope things would be in working order, especially the phone in case of emergency.

I was told I would be given extra points for the inconvenience, but have no way to track if that actually happened.

I didn't expect to be disappointed in my stay there. It was only for one overnight stay and the experience was less than expected.

cleanliness, the way the property is care for, staff

Cons:

My husband and I have mobility issues. We needed a handicap height toilet in our BR and we requested on through booking.com but weren't provided with one. Instead I had to have my husband help me with my cleanliness. It's embarrassing but it's a fact of life.

Clean comfortable room and caring staff
Pros:

Arrived to property. One customer was in front of me and the desk clerk was having issues with the computer system and credit card reader. He was trying hard to get the system up so he could check us in. He kept apologizing for the delay and offered some refreshments while we waited. We eventually got checked in after about one hour and was given bonus points and two $10 vouchers to be used at the Starbucks counter. I reassured the clerk that everything was ok because I recognized he was trying very hard to overcome circumstances outside of his control. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The desk clerk's efforts in conjunction with the room is what caused me to rate as I did. I didn't get his name.
