TOP-Hotel im Zentrum einer faszinierenden mittelalterlichen Stadt
Pros:

Sehr schönes Altstadthotel in zentraler Lage, mit tollem Zimmer und exzellentem Frühstück.
Freundliches, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal.
An der Rezeption wurde uns genau der Weg zur nahegelegenen Stadtparkgarage gezeigt, wo man das Auto für 10€ für 24Stunden parken kann. Bei zwei Nächten wird es pro Nacht noch billiger.
Die Stadt hat tolles mittelalterliches Flair, mit Kopfsteinpflaster. Es gibt nette Restaurant (wie z.b. das leckere mexikanische Restaurant texmex.at gleich am Hotelausgang), sowie Bars und kleine Läden. Der Zusammenfluss von Steyr und Enns (zu Fuß per Fußmarsch durch Altstadt erreichbar) ist sehr imposant.
Die Saunalandschaft SKYFALL kann hinzugebucht werden und hat einen tollen, sehr beruhigenden Wasserfall zur Entspannung.
Alles in allem eine klare TOP-Empfehlung.

encountered extremely poor conditions at this hotel. The room was very dirty, with dust, spiders and insects. The mattress cover was torn, and there was also a very unpleasant smell in the room.

I was shown another room as an alternative, but unfortunately it was in a similar condition: dirt, dust, spiders, insects and the damaged mattress cover.

The overall level of cleanliness and hygiene was completely unacceptable

Un soggiorno indimenticabile nel cuore di Steyr

Durante il mio soggiorno a Steyr, lo Stadthotel Styria mi ha davvero conquistato. Si trova proprio sulla piazza principale (Stadtplatz), un punto di partenza perfetto per girare a piedi e godersi la città. La mia camera era fantastica: grande, pulitissima e soprattutto silenziosissima, nonostante la posizione centralissima. Mi è piaciuto molto l'armonia tra i dettagli storici dell'edificio e i comfort moderni, per non parlare della splendida vista sui tetti della città vecchia appena aprivo le finestre al mattino, ma protetta dagli sguardi, quindi suggestiva visione e riservatezza.
Ma quello che mi è rimasto più nel cuore è la gentilezza dello staff. Fin dal check-in mi hanno fatto sentire benvenuta,mi hanno aiutato con i bagagli, sempre con il sorriso e anche nel bar dove ho accolto la mia cliente, sono stati super disponibili. Un posto meraviglioso da tornare. La colazione con prodotti fatti a mano e genuini è anche un bel risveglio.

Redelijk hotel slechte manager

de locatie en het ontbijt was goed

Cons:

De reactie van de manager nadat ik had gemeld dat hun € 10 parkeerticket in de parkeergarage niet werkte. Geen medeleven enkel verontwaardiging!!

Pros:

Die Lage im Zentrum war perfekt. Das Frühstück war super. Das Personal sehr freundlich.
Das Hotel ist sehr modern und hat ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs- Verhältnis.
Wir können es gerne weiter empfehlen.

Cons:

Es gab keinen Schrank, die Betten waren sehr weich.

Perfect location in the heart of the town
Pros:

Stylish old building equipped inside as required in our times (e.g. air condition). Perfect location in the heart of the town, but parking solution has to be figured out, depending on your arrival and departure time. (For us the public parking on the riverside was perfect, as we arrived late afternoon and left relatively early in the morning.) Breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

There was no real reason to complain about.
