I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Coimbra
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Vila Galé Coimbra. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful.

The facilities were excellent, especially the clean swimming pool. The riverside location is beautiful, and the hotel has easy access to the
city center. Breakfast was varied and delicious.

We stayed here to celebrate our child’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us by leaving a small birthday cake and juice in our room without us even mentioning it. This thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and made our stay even more memorable.

Great for Families
Pros:

Good location within walking distance of Coimbra sites and attractions. Good buffet breakfast with great gluten free options. The pool was especially welcome in the 38 Celsius heat. A lot of fun after a hot afternoon exploring the city.

Cons:

Pillows were a little hard for my taste.

Nice hotel near the old town of Coimbra
Pros:

Nice breakfast with plenty of choices
Pool to cool down on hot summer days
Spacious room

Cons:

I had a room with an old AC which was not really working well, I put it on 17 degrees but still the room was quite warm. As I stayed only 1 night it was ok.
Breakfast: could have better plant based milk for the coffee, like oat milk barrista

Localização, funcionários super simpáticos, piscina interior e exterior.

Cons:

Sem secador no quarto.
Optamos por jantar no hotel e escolhemos buffet, mas por ser sábado era buffet tropical (tema brasil) e não gostamos do buffet em si. E tinha música ao vivo e a música era muito alto o que não é agradável porque uma pessoa quer falar e a música incomodava. Fica a sugestão música ao vivo sim, mas mais baixo, mais em modo de música ambiente.
As almofadas era muito altas e para quem gosta de baixas também não é confortável, tinham dois tipos mas as duas mesmo muito altas.
