Peaceful, welcoming, and made special by Jože’s exceptional hospitality
Pros:

We had a truly lovely stay at Privillage Stare in Bohinj. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, at the quieter end of Lake Bohinj, where it feels wonderfully removed from the daytime crowds.

Breakfast each morning was a pleasure—fresh, generous, and enjoyed with a glimpse of the lake. Just as memorable was the warm atmosphere among the guests. We found ourselves lingering over breakfast, enjoying conversation, and even made new friends from Germany.

Jože’s hospitality was exceptional. He generously took the time to help us plan the best driving routes for the remainder of our journey through Slovenia and carefully explained the route for our Seven Lakes hike. His local knowledge and thoughtful guidance added so much to our experience.

The lake is an easy walk away, and other guests would head down for an early-morning or evening swim, when this end of the lake was especially quiet and peaceful.

Privillage Stare has a wonderful sense of place—beautiful surroundings, genuine hospitality, a lovely breakfast, and an atmosphere that feels warm and personal rather than simply like a hotel stay. We left with very fond memories and would gladly return.

Pros:

Goeie locatie, rustig gelegen op wandelafstand van het meer met toegang tot een klein strand en bushalte. Aan de rustigere zijde van het meer. Inchecken en uitchecken doe je bij de host van de accomodatie, persoonlijk contact en vragen zijn hier dus mogelijk. Ontbijt beschikbaar, bij mooi weer kun je ook buiten zitten.

Amazing place to spend the time in Bohinj. Super kind staff, comfy beds, superb breakfast and of course unbeatable view!

Cons:

It's located kind in the remote side of the lake. But transportation is available with a 15-30min walk (bus and water ferry)

Great location! It is on the west side of Lake Bohinj so it was less crowded, there was a beach that was about a 10 min walk away. It was a cute place to stay with a beautiful view of the mountains. We stayed in a room in the Country House, it was nothing super fancy. There was no A/C but there was a standing fan.

Piękne i zadbane miejsce godne polecenia.
Pros:

Idealna lokalizacja na samym końcu jeziora. Brak tłumów, przepiękne widoki. Pokoje bardzo przestronne i wyjątkowo czyste oraz zadbane. Śniadania były bardzo smaczne, a największe wrażenie zrobiła obsługa, która była niezwykle serdeczna i pomocna. Bardzo polecam.

Perfekter Urlaub
Pros:

Top Lage in Mitten in der Natur, wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Zum See sind es nur ein paar Minuten, durch die Abgeschiedenheit ist es dort nicht überlaufen.

Man kann einige Ausflüge/Wanderungen direkt vom Hotel starten. Auch die Vogelseilbahn ist in 20 Min zu Fuß erreichbar.

Restaurants sind fußläufig 2 zu erreichen. Einkaufenmöglichkeiten sind am anderen Seeende.

Cons:

Es war alles bestens. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre noch schön gewesen.
