Warm and welcoming
Pros:

The Globe is an absolute gem. The staff are great, the food is excellent. Such a warm and welcoming pub full of locals. The rooms are good sizes, and very comfortable. And always a bonus when you get a dressing gown!

Delightful - 100% super lovely and absolutely delicious food
Pros:

Absolutely wonderful. Delicious food, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner over several days, invited friends over for evening meal - nothing too much trouble with dietary needs. Really comfortable, clean bed and bedroom. Staff go that extra mile. A fabulous place to stay, great atmosphere and everyone so friendly. 100% highly recommended. Thank you to all.

The Globe Inn is a must for anyone visiting/staying in Chagford
Pros:

A wonderful traditional Devonian Inn, quirky, full of style, charm & character that matches the eclectic mix of local residents. The Globe Inn is a must for anyone wanting a central base for exploring the moor. They even have their very own tor to hike (Meldon Hill) before a hearty breakfast! The bar is friendly and serves the finest Dartmoor ales. Be sure to catch the chess club on a Monday evening. The locals are very friendly. Owners and staff are friendly, helpful, welcoming and equally quirky. We have visited Dartmoor many times and we will definitely be returning.

Wir haben auch am Abend im Globe Inn gegessen. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Wunderbare Lage im lebendigen Dorfzentrum, gleichzeitig sehr nahe an der offenen Landschaft des Dartmores.

A last minute break and a superb stay at the Globe, room was a great size and the food was delicious

Staff very helpful and in spite of a burst water main, and no water breakfast was provided as normal.

Great location, lovely food but other hotels looked much better value for money

Great location, food good. Issue we had resolved (reluctantly)

Cons:

Customer service when we had an issue, no ventilation is the bathroom at all… not great. Variation in rooms. Once issue raised we were offered another room, much better than first

Great Stay in Chagford !
Pros:

We've been to The Globe several times and each time it's been wonderful - friendly welcome - fabulous food so compliments to the Chef. We have already booked to go back.

Très bon choix
Pros:

L’hôtel a du charme, le personnel est très attentif. On a mangé sur place et c’était très bien. Menu enfant. Possibilité de sécuriser des vélos dans la cour sur demande. Très central. Parking communal à 50m.

Cons:

Les fenêtres qu’on ne pouvait pas occulter à 100%, mais c’est souvent le cas.
