Very good hotel, with quirky architecture in a nice quiet village, but handy for exploring La Rioja region. Room we had was large, well appointed reflecting the architecture of the building, very comfortable, with good bed, nice bathroom (which was open to the bedroom with a partition; WC had a door). Hotel itself had seating areas, bar, various terraces to sit out, lots of modern art work around the public areas, and was a really nice place to be. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Good size car park which was free to use. Very handy for visiting Marques de Riscal (10mins drive), but also with some very nice bodegas in the village to explore.
The village doesn't have many eating options (none open for food that we could find in April) so the hotel restaurant is pretty much it if you don't want to drive. I thought the food was slightly pricey for what we had, and there were no vegetarian options on the menu when we stayed. Food was good, service was great.
Volveremos .
