Cecilia was very nice, professional, and accommodating. The breakfasts were perfect.
Very friendly and helpful reception. Old hotel with character and charm. Comfortable and quiet.
Nothing
Great location
The house is very cold and it doesn’t seem clean. Beds are uncomfortable as well
The house is dated. Could have been better.
What made this stay was the extra mile the staff went too. We even were able to heat up our dinner in the microwave and use the dining hall to eat. The breakfast was plentiful and the beds super comfy. Don't be alarmed by the old style heritage looks and feel of this building. Great value for money. The staff's hospitality, great beds, great water pressure in shower and the added benefit of great shampoo conditioner and body moisturiser. Definitely highly recommend.
Quirky old Katoomba hotel. Lovely staff. Very supportive of runners from UTMB by providing breakfast very early.
Nice big old common lounge room.
The bathroom was very smelly, drainage issues I think.
The common lounge area would’ve been great if either the fire or aircon were on for warmth.
Great location
The hotel is very quaint, feels extremely cozy and the location is absolutely perfect.
Minutes away from the three sisters, from all Katoomba's food and shops and across from the RSL.
Has beautiful paintings and its very blue mountains vibe.
I feel like there could be more use of the areas within the hotel, there is beautiful rooms some with fireplaces, a restaurant section and a bar which none seem to be open throughout the weekend. Breakfast is as per it says and honestly its good for a quick breakfast when you do not have the time to go out to eat.
Nothing
The property was dirty outside and the kitchen wasn’t cleaned properly. We couldn’t cook bacon and eggs for breakfast cause the pan was not suitable for the induction cooktop.
When I spoke to the person in the kitchen he replied we don’t supply anything.
Yet I was in a self contained villa.
The breakfast said fresh fruit and there was one bowl of rockmelon and there was atleast 20 guests in the breakfast room.
The photos showed a working fire place in the main lounge room and on arrival they said it’s not working.
The worst stay I have ever experienced on booking.com.au
The location
The bed wasn’t conform
The wifi 🛜 didn’t work
Las camas cómodas y el personal muy amable
El desayuno algo flojo. Sólo cereales y lácteos. Las ventanas de la habitación tenían los marcos de madera rotos y entraba aire. Había moho en el cuarto de baño.
