It's Recommended, good choice when we stay at Katoomba.
Pros:

They served the complimentary breakfast for guests. The room has very nice views just right in the corner and warm during the winter. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is very warm and welcoming, friendly and very helpful when we need something. And very close to the center and Tourist bus stop.

Safety of every guests is more important
Pros:

bed was alright but cleanliness inside the room and bathroom/toilet was very bad. I can see cobwebs in the room window, mold in the bathroom, very dirty air vents and dusty windows. Room windows are not secure. Main entrance of the hotel is not secure anybody can sneak in during the night even the back door not secure too. Hotel need to renovation.

Cons:

Lower floor windows, main entrance and back door entrance should be secure for guests safety. Proper cleaning after guests check out especially in the bathroom. Should at least clean with bleach to make it smell fresh and no mold.

Pros:

The location was great.

Cons:

It was very cold in communal areas, and no heating was turned on. Our room had a rotten window frame, which had a hole, so the outside cold was coming straight into the room. The bread, milk, and breakfast spreads ran out, with no staff checking to see if they needed to be topped up.

I was pleased to not to have stayed in the motel, but in the house adjoining the motel.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable,

Cons:

The bathrooms were not clean, mould up the walls in the shower recess. Dirty sponge to wash up with. Expecting the breakfast to be in the house we slept in, but, we had to find our way to the motel, for breakfast. There wasn't sufficient milk in the kitchen, even to make a cup of tea. Broken railing on the front porch, if you lent on it, would have a nasty fall, the grounds needed a tidy up. No pamphlets in the house to order take away. The dishwasher hadn't been emptied.

Pros:

Location was good for our trip, close to the blue mountains and with the RSL right across the road, dinner was easy to sort out !

Cons:

The king bed which we upgraded to, wasnt actually a full bed, it was 2 king singles pushed together so there was an uncomfortable split down the middle. The beds were not exactly the same height so it was very noticeable. They were also quite springy.
The bathrooms design was a bit tight. The toilet is positioned too close to the basin so was a tad awkward but still functional. Would have been nice to have a tad more options in the complimentary drinks in the room.
