It was right off of the highway and very close to the venue we were going to for my daughter's competition.

The first night we noticed the bathroom sink didn't drain, the room was pretty dirty , next to the fridge the layer of dust it was clear that hadn't been wiped off in weeks if not months. Half of the lights etc dont work. There wasnt even a roller for the toilet paper so it was just shoved into the cavity it sits by. When we pulled the pullout bed for my daughter it had multiple wrappers and old food items including eggs on the ground.
I shrugged it off I don't like to complain. We headed off to day 1 of our event and didn't get back until late. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and was tired and just wanted some sleep. As soon as I pulled the blanket up I could smell a rancid smell on it.
It's clear they DO NOT wash the blankets and sheets they just put them right back on after each customer. I slept with no blankets that night. First thing in the morning my daughter points out the headboard to me that there is now enough light to reflect off of. Right above my head where I slept there were hand prints and other fluids all over the head board that were clearly never cleaned off... to say I was appalled is an understatement.
I went directly to the front desk and the gentleman there informed me all he could do was ask the cleaners to come in and deep clean our room while we were gone for the day.
We were gone 12+ hours and returned to the same blankets /sheets having been put right back on the bed and the headboard having not been touched by the cleaners at all.
I made the gentleman from the desk walk down to the room with me to see for himself and he "apologized " and said they would move us to another room. So we then had to pack all of our items up and move to another room now a floor up. In that room it was only slightly cleaner, but again very apparent that the blankets never got washed (I could smell the last guest perfume on them) There were also nasty spots all over the pullout bed in that room as well.

The room was clean and quiet. The kitchen area could use some improvement.

The breakfast buffet food was okay, but the coffee/hot water bar had coffee stained ragged signs taped on the dispensers. How much trouble would it be to replace them with laminated signs?

There were also dozens of large boxes labeled “room artwork” piled up in the dining area.

The staff were nice and accommodating. Breakfast wasn’t bad.

Cons:

The room smelled like mildew smell, when I cut the tub on the water shot out from the side of the faucet real bad. The staff immediately changed my room, to ANOTHER room where the AC leaked and sounded loudly throughout the middle of the night. I sleep lightly so I hear everything, but you could hear the water hitting the floor. And the tub also leaked, I was just over it because this room looked cleaner than the last and didn’t smell weird.
