Loved the room it was clean and put together

Regarding reservation 5342715971, I am writing to dispute the cancellation and request a full refund for the service I paid for.

The property’s claim regarding my early check-in request is inaccurate and does not reflect the actual circumstances of my reservation. I believe this information was fabricated as a justification to cancel my booking.

Since the reservation was cancelled by the property based on false pretenses, I expect a prompt refund of the total amount paid. Please let me know the steps required to process this immediately.

Courtyard Marriott is our go to hotel. We usually stay at University Center location but it was booked due to graduation.

We walked in and wasn't sure if the man at the front desk worked there dressed in a hoodie and baseball cap, no name tag or any other indication he was employee.

We came to our room, highway side. It is very loud, we were up all night due to traffic noise.

The duvet on our bed was dirty/stained. I was too exhausted from a day of moving to complain. I just turned it down.

We are used to having complimentary bottles of water in our room. There was 1 bottle for $5.

The bathroom was missing essentials like a hair dryer and lotion. The shower essentials were not locked, so people could have filled those which who knows what. The shower gel was empty. I discovered this halfway through my shower.

For $350/night I expect basics supplied and a clean linens. This is comparable to what I pay in the city and our stays are always perfect with a welcoming staff. I won't stay at this location again.

On January 26, 2026, I made a reservation for a hotel room for April 18, 2026, to celebrate my mother’s birthday and take her to a Pittsburgh Pirates game. Prior to our arrival, I requested an 11:00 AM early check-in, which was confirmed by the property via email.

However, when my mother and I arrived at 11:15 AM on April 18, the front desk representative, who identified herself as a manager, refused to honor the 11:00 AM check-in. Despite showing her the confirmation email on my phone, she stated they had no record of the request in their system and suggested we find another hotel, even though the room was paid in full and non-refundable. She eventually stated the room would be ready at 1:00 PM.

While we were away at lunch, I received a notification that my reservation had been canceled. When I called to inquire, the manager claimed the cancellation was due to me "yelling and swearing" and physically threatening the staff. I want to state clearly that this is a total fabrication and a complete lie. This false narrative was used as a justification for an arbitrary cancellation after the staff failed to honor a confirmed early check-in.

I find this treatment of guests, especially while traveling with my elderly mother, to be completely unacceptable. I would like this matter to be investigated and addressed immediately.

Had to stay here due to flights being cancelled it was fine - some of the staff were lovely others not so good

The location was good close to highway and the mall across the street. The front desk employee was very helpful and friendly.

Close to the airport that I needed

Staff was friendly. Check in and out super easy. Room was clean and building was setup was nice.

Ease and convenience of the hotel. Fantastic staff especially the front desk person Thursday, Jan 29th. He was friendly and kept me updated when my Uber driver to the airport would arrive
