Staff are very slow, especially waiters. I almost felt like no service at all. And the internet connectionis very poor., OMG. Very slow and keep cutting off especially on second floor.

Pros:

The staff was quite welcoming and lovely. The food at the Kalypso restaurant was great (especially the sushi). The gym and pool were top tier!!

Cons:

The internet speeds and connection were very unreliable. Truly frustrating as I also needed to work on this trip, so most times I had to use an alternative hotspot network.
The rooms are not state-of-the-art but just okay. The breakfast selection was quite limited.

Best value for money
Pros:

Excellent value for money compared to other nearby options. The hotel was clean and well maintained, the breakfast was great, and the food at Kalypso Restaurant was delicious. The gym is impressively large, and the spa experience was outstanding. I highly recommend it.

It was the perfect place to enjoy Dar es Salaam, relax, and feel taken care of

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt comfortable, clean, and well taken care of.
The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, the rooms were very nice, and the facilities made the whole stay feel relaxing and
special.
The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed having everything available inside the hotel — good meals, spa, gym, and a peaceful place to rest. The staff were kind, respectful, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, good service, and a high-quality stay in the city.

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

Great location, wonderful staff, Late checkout request allowed without drama. Large and Well equipped gym, steam bath and Sauna available.

Gute und freundlich Unterkunft mitten in Dar es Salaam
Pros:

Wir übernachten meistens im Colosseum wenn wir in Dar es Salaam sind. Der Empfang ist immer freundlich, die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind geräumig, das Frühstück ist gut und das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommen.

Cons:

Das eher etwas schwere Interieur und die eher schweren Düfte des Shampoos und Shower Gels entspricht nicht ganz meinem Geschmack aber ist ok.

Cons:

I had a room on the first floor and the window was not possible lock. Maintenance fixed one of the windows on the first night but the other window had the same problem and was only fixed the second night. High security risk on the first floor where it would have been easy to climb in. The safe was not working the whole stay. But the worst issue was that I had booked a shuttle from the airport to the hotel through the hotel and given my flight details. The flight was delayed and the shuttle service didn't check this so they charged me twice for the shuttle and even the hotel management had no desire to solve this double charge they simply refused and charged me even though they had all details and could easily have checked if the flight was on time or delayed. I do not recommend staying at this hotel, I will never stay here again and no business affiliate of mine will ever stay here.
