Very pleasant
Pros:

The room was very comfortable, at the front of the hotel, a lot of traffic noise in the morning but we expected that, Breakfast and dinner were both very good, staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The hotel is in need of a good makeover compared to the last time we stayed, St Austell Brewery should spend some money on this splendid old building

A most enjoyable stay.
Pros:

A very well-presented room in a historic building. Good food was available in the restaurant in the evening and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Cons:

Service of breakfast did not start until 8.00, which was a bit too late for me as I had to catch an early train to London.

Super hyggeligt med god beliggenhed.
Pros:

Beliggenhed, meget stemningsfulde og hyggeligt hotel

Cons:

Kun en meget lille parkeringsplads så kan det være at man skal parkere på High street ( gratis 6pm - 09 am) indtil der bliver en ledig plsds. Patience required here.

Very disappointing.
Pros:

Staff were obliging, and breakfast was good.

Cons:

Our room on the third floor was exceedingly hot, 33ºC at 10:30pm. The room had an air conditioner but it didn't work, the fault was reported but it was not fixed during our stay. The windows had restricted opening as expected on the third floor which meant the air flow was minimal so it was both hot and very stuffy. The whole of the third floor was very hot.

Nice central hotel
Pros:

Breakfast and evening meal was good

Cons:

Room was advertised with AirCon - which I understand had not been working for a long time (the aircon was a deciding factor in booking this hotel during a heatwave - so that was a bit disappointing)
