Parking was tight particularly if your car is on the large side. However we did easily park on the road very close by
Cannot fault this hotel, our stay was absolutely lovely and a brilliant alternative to going abroad. Lovely pool area with really comfortable loungers and great location, 5 minute walk to the beach.
Genuinely the only thing that annoyed me was the door lock as it took several attempts to lock it when leaving the room.
Hotel is in a quiet location but still close to the beach. It has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing break, including a beautiful garden with a pool and sunloungers. Breakfast is excellent and there's a lounge/bar area with a pool table, plus a lovely conservatory overlooking the pool. Parking is another bonus to this highly recommended hotel.
Nothing to dislike
EVERYTHING……..😊From the moment we arrived, the welcome was outstanding. Lovely comfy bed, exceptionally clean. The facilities are stylish and lux. The swim pool was refreshing, nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel welcome and everyone was friendly… even the other guests were good company. A short walk to the harbour front, a little steep hill to and from hotel but nothing toooo strenuous. We will definitely stay again.
Absolutely nothing at all
The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. It's better that it is family run instead of a big business. They make you feel a lot more welcomed and truly value each guest.
Honestly I'd go there yearly, was perfect for mine and the wife's honeymoon. Next time I will book a larger room though.
Wished I had booked a larger room, not the hotels fault. That fault is mine. And also wish there was a bigger TV other than that nothing at all bad.
We had a great weekend at this lovely hotel. The hosts really made us feel welcome and bent over backwards to help in any way they could.. We arrived early in the morning and we were able to use the facilities until our room was ready which was a huge bonus and very thoughtful.. Our room was clean and comfortable and provided us with everything we needed for our stay.. Breakfast was delicious (especially the eggs!) and we were even provided with a portable breakfast for my husband who left early on one of the mornings. We loved the pool and garden area and the great location. We definitely hope to visit again next year! A hidden gem!

The owners made you feel so welcome & we're so pleasant, lovely hotel & very clean, came in to your room daily if needed anything. Booked for next year. Have been staying in Torquay many years staying at different hotels but never found one to go back to each year apart from Riviera Lodge Hotel deffently a 10.
