The swimming pool is free for all guests and is open every day.

The hotel is just a kids’ big playground
Pros:

The hotel is massive, close to the centre and embankment. Halloween decorations are nice. Even basic room design is pretty and size is fine.

Cons:

The kid is the king here. Unfortunately most of the kids were misbehaving and neither parents nor staff cared about it. My 2.2 kg quiet and peaceful dog wasn’t allowed anywhere yet the kids were jumping, running and screaming in the restaurant at the breakfast, sushi restaurant and the spa was a nightmare. Staff should tell off the incompetent parents to follow some basic rules!!! They used incorrectly the elevators which caused massive delays (again, kids not allowed to use them alone). The quiet times in spa were never respected, it was impossible to rest in the sauna or swimming pool due to the lack of basic manners of enormous amount of kids. I regret staying here. Also, the receptionist lady who welcomed me tried to push me to skip cleaning (tf?) and asked if I drank alcohol (my bday related question) I said no. Nevertheless I was given a complimentary bottle of cava. I returned it to the reception. My advice is to be mindful as some people can be sensitive to this kind of thing.

Morgenmad under al kritik lange køer først for at fortælle hvilket værelse vi boede på og bagefter lang kø for at få bord - alt for mange mennesker i buffeten som var ringe.

En ok oplevelse men heller ikke mere, og slet ikke når man tænker på prisen også. Dog er det virkelig dejligt at man før

Personalet var søde og fordi vi var til arrangement derinde havde vi valgt en overnatning

Cons:

Der kunne godt have være mere at vælge imellem i baren nede ved receptionen.
Morgenmaden var ringe, var der for nogle år siden og synes det denne gang var væsentligt forringet! og voldsom med mennesker omkring buffeten.

A wonderful stay made unforgettable by exceptional kindness
Pros:

We stayed at the Tivoli Hotel for our first trip to Copenhagen, travelling as a mum and her six-year-old son.

Unfortunately, our journey got off to a terrible start. Flight delays meant we missed our connection, arrived in Copenhagen much later than planned and, to top it all off, our suitcase didn’t arrive. We arrived at the hotel close to midnight, exhausted, upset and with nothing but the clothes we were wearing.

This is where I really want to recognise Alexius, who checked us in that evening. I was so overwhelmed that I actually burst into tears at reception, but he was incredibly kind, patient and reassuring. He provided us with toothbrushes, helped us work out where to buy essentials the following morning, checked whether we needed any medication from a pharmacy and even brought robes and extra blankets up to our room so we had something comfortable to wear and wouldn’t be cold.

He went above and beyond without ever being intrusive. His kindness made an incredibly stressful evening so much easier, and it genuinely meant a lot to us. My son even commented afterwards that Alexius had been so nice to Mummy when she was crying, and kept asking if we could go and see him again!

It’s easy to underestimate the impact of small acts of kindness, but we won’t forget how he treated us.

Beyond that, the hotel itself was excellent. Our room was lovely, breakfast was fantastic, the pool was a real bonus and the room service burger was delicious! All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

A huge thank you to Alexius and the wider team. You helped turn what could have been a really upsetting start to our first trip together into a much happier experience. We would absolutely stay here again.

Good room size, comfortable bed, great breakfast and great swimming pool. Staff was very helpful too and genuinely nice.

Cons:

If you have breakfast just before closing time, expect it to be full of people, and especially kids. Keep that in mind if you are a professional, but most likely you will have breakfast much earlier.
The pillows, the pillow covers and the duvet covers could have been of higher quality.

Staff were very hit and miss. Often quite blunt and rude - waiter said to fill bottle ourselves using bathroom tap. Breakfast is absolutely chaotic and very little selection compared to most breakfasts.

Room was not made two days in a row, shower was not working effectively due to faulty shower pipe. Fixed half a day after notified

Fräscht rum, trevlig och tillmötesgående personal

Cons:

Enda lilla grejen var att vi inte hade kaffe eller muggar på rummet och jag frågade om detta på väg upp från gymmet på morgonen. Personalen i receptionen intygade att det var bara att ringa så kommer de med kaffe. Men en stund senare ringde vi två gånger och efter en timme hade ni ändå inte fått något kaffe så då gick jag ner och hämtade. Det är ju ok, bara man vet om det - nu satt vi ju och väntade och det kom inget.
